Redstickers Return to Campus for Athletic Team Reunions
Alumnae members of four of SJA’s sports teams celebrated reunions during the past
several months. Former members of the (clockwise from top left) basketball, swimming,
volleyball and soccer teams gathered for informal visits and/or fun activities prior to current
teams’ competitions. Former soccer team members participated in an alumnae game,
and swimmers got together to celebrate coach Nan Murtagh’s 25th year in coaching.
“We decided to host sports reunions because when you participate in athletics, you
become part of a team family,” said Lauren Griffin, SJA’s alumnae coordinator. “Once
you graduate, you can lose touch with one another. The reunions were a great way to
allow the graduates to reconnect.”
