Our price list includes all prices and package offers for the winter
2010/11 and summer 2011 seasons. You will also find plenty of infor -
mation about what is on offer at the Goldener Berg and in the surrounding
area.
This year we are able to offer a further 10 hotel rooms equipped
with wooden floors and new furniture. The Alter Goldener Berg terrace has also been improved and
changes have been made to the hotel terrace. The furniture and wooden floors have been restored in all the
restaurants. We have also installed new cold storage rooms in our kitchen as well as a new food preparation
area. In addition, we have partly renovated the staff living quarters. We would be delighted to show you
around when you come to visit us.
The Dine Around half-board offer was so popular with our hotel guests last year that we have decided
to continue it this year. As part of their half-board package, guests can choose to eat in any of the following
restaurants:
• Six-course menu at the Panorama Restaurant
• Three-course Austrian menu at the Bergstüberl Restaurant
• Three-course gourmet menu at the Gault Millau award-winning Johannesstübli Restaurant
• Three-course menu in the traditional rooms of the Alter Goldener Berg Restaurant
Once again we have designed some very special packages for our guests. The family package allows
children to sleep free of charge in their parent’s room. Guests who have previously stayed with us for
a week on three separate occasions will receive a 5% discount during the regular guest weeks. Some
packages include the children’s ski pass free of charge or you can choose to use the Alpin Spa at a 10%
discount.

bath offers space to relax and unwind and you
can sit on the large sun terrace with a glass of
champagne in the sun and do not wish to be
anywhere else but there.

This ample suite offers perfect accomodation for 2
people as much as for the family (up to 4 people).
The sun already greets you early in the morning
and leaves you feeling motivated to start the new
day. Thanks to the separate living and sleeping
areas different interests can be accounted for. After
an exciting day of sport, relaxation and recovery
in the roomy bath or on the large south balcony
no longer stand in your way.

In this spacious suite you feel as much at ease with

on different levels - there is a lot of space

C H I L D R E N
Children up to one year old can stay in their parents’
room for free without board. Only EUR 18.00 per day is
charged for children between one and three (2010-
2008). We will also be pleased to provide you with a cot
and baby monitor. Children under 12 (2007-1999)
staying in their parents’ room get children’s rates.

During these weeks, children up to the age of 12 stay free
of charge in their parents’ room.

We will be pleased to offer our regular guests (minimum
stay of 3 weeks in 3 years) in the regular guests week a
loyalty discount on the room rate between these dates.
C H I L D C A R E AT T H E G O L D E N E R B E R G
The hotel’s own “Kiddy-Club” is free and it looks after our
young guests aged 3 and over. The nanny is there to take
care of the little ones from 9am to 1pm and she eats lunch
with them. Afterwards, your children are once again well
looked after from 4pm to 9pm, during which time the nanny
eats with them at 6pm (children’s buffet) before playing
some great games with the kids. This is our service for you
parents, so that you can fully enjoy your day’s skiing and
evening meal.
G O L D E N E R B E R G D I N E A R O U N D
We are offering you your room plus breakfast. Of course
you can also book a half-board stay in addition! You can
experience an extended form of Dine Around in our
restaurants:
- a 6 course menu in our main hotel restaurant
(2 menus to choose from)
- a 3 course menu with Austrian specialties in our
“Bergstüberl“
- a 3 course gourmet menu in our à la carte restaurant
“Johannesstübli“ that has been awarded by Gault Millau
- a 3 course menu at our restaurant Alter Goldener Berg
This package applies to your whole stay and can only be
booked up until the date of your arrival. For EUR 50.00
per person per day, you can choose where you would like
to have dinner on a daily basis.

In our Alpine Spa we have succeeded in integrating our
magnificent mountains in all their glory to give you the
feeling that you are in the heart of the mountains – which
you are! Apart from all the facilities mentioned above
which can be used for free, we also offer cosmetic treatments
of all kinds with products from the “Almstern” and
“Susanne Kaufmann“, ranges, which are made of pure vegetable
substances, a wide range of packs in the Haslau
suspension tub, fantastic detoxifying and relaxation baths
in the crystal bath, massages of all types and origins, body
peelings, sun bed and many other treatments! You will
find our detailed programme along with our prices at

P E T S
EUR 28.00 per pet per day without food. We would like
to inform you that for hygiene reasons it is not possible to
bring your beloved pets with you into the restaurant or the
Alpin Spa. Thank you very much for your understanding.
D R E S S C O D E
The evening meal in the restaurant and dining rooms is always
a festive occasion and for this reason we request
that your attire be smart but casual.
A S P E C I A L T R E AT F R O M T H E
“ G O L D E N E R B E R G ”
The “Snowman ticket” for children born in 2003 and after
and senior citizens born in 1936 and before is given to
our guests free of charge. The pass is valid all season!
S K I S C H O O L
The “Happy Skiing Oberlech” ski school, where young
and old alike can learn to ski, is only 100 metres away
from the “Goldener Berg”. You can also book a private
ski guide. Please ensure that you reserve these with our
reception prior to your arrival.
PA R K I N G
If you are travelling by car, we would be pleased to reserve
a space for you in the hotel’s own spaces in the “Anger”
underground car park in Lech, opposite the Lech-
Oberlech cable car station at a price of EUR 13.00 per
day. You will get to Oberlech and the Hotel Goldener
Berg by cable car.

Whether it’s the “White Ring” ski race, the mountain half marathon, the winter triathlon
(cycle, ski walk up the Madloch mountain on touring skis, ski down and run back), the
summer triathlon (rowing, mountain biking, running), the Arlberg Classic Car Rally for
fans of veteran cars – in Lech at Arlberg you can take part in fantastic competitions that
are physically challenging but are more about having fun than anything else.

The Arlberg provides fantastic sports opportunities throughout the year for both young
and old.
In the summer you can enjoy:
Walking and hiking using the extensive network of hiking trails in and around the
local area as well as far into the mountains and to neighbouring communities. The
green ring – the equivalent to the winter’s white ring – takes you from Lech to Zürs,
then to Zug and back to Lech in three days, with signs and information provided
along the way. Climb various rock faces and try our fixed rope route up Karhorn
and Gampen. Mountain biking, nordic walking, jogging, a fitness trail, swimming,
tennis, beach volleyball, crag, canyoning, paragliding, hang gliding and much more
are available.
Cultural activities in Lech include the intellectual Philosophicum discussions every
September. It’s also easy to get to the Bregenz Festivals from here, as well as to the
Schubertiade in Schwarzenberg. Several fantastic museums also put on exhibitions
that change on a regular basis.
Alpine skiing is the main activity during the winter. But our cross-country tracks
are also worth a look, and families have a lot of fun snowshoeing, nordic walking,
hiking, tobogganing, bobsleighing, sleigh riding, heli-skiing and on husky sledging
tours.
In culinary terms, Lech am Arlberg has been named a world gourmet village.
Nowhere else will you find so many award-winning restaurants in such a small
area.

H O W T O F I N D U S ?
The closest international airport is Zürich. From there you can take the daily
Arlberg-Express shuttle service. The bus picks you up from the gate and takes you to
the Lech-Oberlech mountain gondola and back! We organise it all for you. The
airports at Altenrhein, Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance and Innsbruck provide
flights from many German cities as well as London at favourable prices. From there
you can take a taxi to Lech.
You can book your train journey to Langen am Arlberg either online or directly with
the Austrian Railways. Your luggage can be conveyed from door to door – but
please make it available at least one week prior to leaving for your holiday. Your
reserved room is available from 15:00 on your day of arrival. We request that you
check out of your room by 12:00 on the day of departure.
A R R I VA L W I N T E R
You will get to Oberlech and Goldener Berg by cable car from Lech. You then wander
through a romantic winter wonder world approx. 100 m to Goldener Berg. You
also can travel through our underground tunnel from the cableway to Goldener
Berg. We take care of your luggage.
If you arrive by car, then please stop at the cable car station Lech - Oberlech. There
we take your luggage and send it directly up to the Hotel. At the cable car station
you will get a ticket for the underground car park “Anger“ and a ticket to go up in
the cable car.
A R R I VA L S U M M E R
In summer, you can drive directly up to the hotel. Drive through Lech until you reach
the end of the town and turn left onto the street to Oberlech. Then follow the signs
for Hotel Goldener Berg: at the first crossroad turn left, passing the tunnel system,
through which supplies are brought in winter, and after this, at the next junction, take
the road on the right, which leads you higher up. When you arrive at the plateau
you will see the Hotel Goldener Berg straight ahead.
