You will find an abundance of lovely
scenic spots and many impressive
cultural treasures in Styria.
Suggested programme:
Day 1:
Arrive at your hotel in the Graz region,
your home for the next 5 nights.
Day 2:
After breakfast join your guide for
a guided tour of the city of Graz,
cultural city of Europe in 2003. See
many of the major sights, including
the Clock Tower on the Schloss-
berg, the Landhaus, with its amazing Renaissance style courtyard,
the Opera House, and much, much more. In the afternoon you’re
free to explore the city on your own.
Day 3:
Your trip today will take you to the Lippizaner stud farm of Piber, just
a few kilometres north of Graz. The stud farm is the birthplace of the
famous "Lippizaner" horses which are also trained at the well-known
Spanish Riding School of Vienna. During your visit you can enjoy a
guided tour of the stables.
Day 4:
Enjoy your breakfast before taking a scenic tour through the
"Schilcher wine region", famous for its wine and pumpkin seed oil.
Why not enhance your day with a wine and brandy tasting with
the "Jöbstl" family in Wernersdorf? In the late afternoon return to
your hotel.
Day 5:
Today we recommend a visit to Riegersburg, where the walk up to
the castle is an adventure when you pass through seven castle gates
and eleven bastions. You then have a chance to sample a glass
or two of the best Austrian wines after a guided tour of the distillery.
If there is enough time why not make a journey to the Zotter Chocolate
factory, where you simply cannot resist the sweet temptation of
numerous kinds of chocolate.

"Bregenz Forest"
Discover some of the Vorarlberg
region‘s gastronomic and picturesque
delights on this tour.
Suggested programme:
Day 1:
Arrive at your hotel in the Bregenz
region in Vorarlberg and enjoy your
evening meal.
Day 2:
After a relaxing breakfast travel to
the capital of Vorarlberg, Bregenz,

tour. Return to your hotel for dinner.
Day 3:
Your route today takes you across the border into Switzerland to
the town of Appenzell where, after a short guided tour of the town,
you can participate in a typical cheese tasting. In the afternoon
you then travel to the town of Flawil and the Maestrani Swiss chocolate
factory. Time permitting, we recommend a visit to the town
of St. Gallen. You then return to the hotel for your evening meal.
Day 4:
Extend your stay, combine with another tour or departure.
