OVERVIEW<br />
Giken Ocean Tankers Limited was incorporated in 2003 <strong>to</strong> carry out the business of<br />
shipping within Nigerian Coastal waters and the West African Coast generally.<br />
In 2005, the <strong>company</strong> acquired 2 vessels of 6000MT capacity each <strong>–</strong> MT Gracious and MT<br />
Agboiyi from Turkey. The vessels were financed by Equity Bank Ltd (taken over by<br />
Intercontinental Bank Plc).<br />
Between 2005 and 2007, both vessels were quite active in coastal liftings from Warri &<br />
Port Harcourt Refineries. In January 2010, the <strong>company</strong> entered in<strong>to</strong> a Technical<br />
Management Agreement and a Commercial Management Agreement with a reputable<br />
Ship Management <strong>company</strong> based in Mumbai, India <strong>–</strong> Transocean Shipping Ventures<br />
(Pvt.) Ltd <strong>to</strong> revive and retrofit the vessels which had been moribund following the inactive<br />
state of Warri & PHC Refineries.<br />
The turn around was completed in May 2010 and the vessels commenced trading actively<br />
along the West African coast lifting cargoes from Mother Vessels anchored in Co<strong>to</strong>nou,<br />
Lome, Cote Divorie etc for supplies <strong>to</strong> Depots and Jetties in Lagos, Warri, Port Harcourt,<br />
Calabar and offshore <strong>Oil</strong> platforms.<br />
The vessels are manned by qualified and competent staff both Nigerians and expatriates.<br />
The vessels are in class, with proper Hull and Machinery Insurances, Pollution & Indemnity<br />
Insuraces in place. Also the vessels posses all required requla<strong>to</strong>ry permits from NIMASA,<br />
DPR, etc <strong>to</strong> operate.<br />

Mrs. Enenmoh graduated from the University of Lagos with an LLB (Hons) degree and was<br />
called <strong>to</strong> bar after success<strong>full</strong>y completing her stint at the Nigerian Law School.<br />
She has had experience in sales and marketing while working for Unilever (formerly Lever<br />
Brothers) as a sales supervisor from where she left for private business in 1981.<br />
GEORGE IKECHUKWU ENENMOH<br />
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER<br />
Mr Ikechukwu G. Enenmoh is an Executive Direc<strong>to</strong>r of <strong>Ascon</strong> <strong>Oil</strong> responsible<br />
foroperations. He is a graduate of the IOWA State University, U.S.A. with a Bsc Degree in<br />
Chemical Engineering and a Minor in Journalism and Mass Communication.<br />
IKEM OHIA<br />
COMPANY SECRETARY/ LEGAL ADVISER<br />
Ikem Ohia doubles as Legal Adviser and Company Secretary. He was called <strong>to</strong> the<br />
Nigerian Bar in 1977. Ikem worked with Unipetrol Nigeria for a <strong>to</strong>tal of 15 years where<br />
he rose through the ranks <strong>to</strong> become General Manager, Unipetrol Sierra Leone, a<br />
subsidiary of Unipetrol, Nigeria.<br />

PATRICK A. OKOYOMOH<br />
MARINE ENGINEER SUPERINTENDENT<br />
Mr Okoyomoh started his maritime career with the defunct Nigerian National Shipping<br />
Line as a Cadet Engineer. He was trained at the Nigerian Maritime Academy, Oron from<br />
1983 <strong>to</strong> 1986 and graduated as a <strong>full</strong> fledge Marine Engineer Officer with a Class II<br />
“Mo<strong>to</strong>rs” Marine Engineer Certificate of Competency from the Arab Maritime Academy,<br />
Alexandria, Egypt in 1989.<br />
He served as an Engineer Officer onboard various Nigerian National Shipping Line ships<br />
namely: M.V. River Ikpan, M.V. River Andoni, M.V. River Oli, M.V. River Ogbese among<br />
others. Upon liquidation of the N.N.S.L. continued a sea career onboard privately owned<br />
indigenous vessels as a Senior Engineer Officer, mostly as Chief Engineer.<br />
As a chief Engineer in far away Malaysia, he served onboard the M.T. Vic<strong>to</strong>ria Lucy, a<br />
Malaysian Flagged LPG vessel, owned by Helmat Shipping PTE, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia<br />
from 1997 <strong>to</strong> 1998. On his return <strong>to</strong> Nigeria he served as a Chief Engineer onboard M.T.<br />
Maria, M.T. Bekkie, M.T. Orion 1, M.T. Zenon Conquest, M. T. Fezol Explora, etc.Giken<br />
He later joined Ocean Tankers, Ltd. and was onboard the M.T. Gracious, as Chief<br />
Engineer before he was promoted <strong>to</strong> the Marine Engineer Superintendent position on the<br />
5th March, 2010; a position held till date. He attended additional courses at the Regional<br />
Maritime Academy, Ghana and obtained Manda<strong>to</strong>ry HSE certificates in compliance with<br />
STCW '95 i.e. Advanced Fire Fighting, Proficiency in Medical First Aid, Proficiency in<br />
Survival Craft & Rescue Boats, Life Boat, <strong>Oil</strong> Tanker Familiarization, Personal Survival<br />
Techniques etc.<br />
Mr Okoyomoh Also holds a Class I “Mo<strong>to</strong>rs” Marine Engineer Certificate from the Bureau<br />
of Maritime Affairs, Liberia.<br />
AIRADION RICHARD ADUBU<br />
ACCOUNTS & ADMINISTRATION<br />
Mr Airadion joined the <strong>company</strong> in 2007. He has a degree in accountancy and is<br />
responsible for all the accounting and administrative operations.<br />
