COME DINE WITH US
While the captain takes you around the world, our
onboard chefs will take you on a culinary tour de force.
The dining set-up on a Thomson cruise means you can eat your way
around the world, without even leaving the ship. All our ships have
at least 3 restaurants, which serve everything from oven-fired pizza
to roast beef. And their menus change every day, so you’ll never
sit down to the same menu twice.
To mix up your menu choices even more, Thomson Cruises put on
regular captain’s dinners. These nights begin with a cocktail party,
guests dress to impress, and the menu also gets a dressing-up.
You can decide on the style in which you dine, too. It’s no secret
we’re well-versed in fine dining. No matter which ship you’re on,
you can sit down to a formal 5-course dinner every night if you want to.
In each ship’s main formal restaurant, suited and booted waiting staff
bring wine and food to your table.
For something really special, you can pay a bit more to dine in your
ship’s flagship à la carte restaurant. These dining spaces tend to be
more intimate and the menus make the gourmet goal posts even wider.
But, we also know that you won’t always feel like dressing for dinner.
That’s why we also offer more laid-back dining choices, like buffets
and snacks on deck.
And we don’t stop serving food just because it’s not breakfast, lunch
or dinner. If you’re peckish between meals you can sit down to afternoon
tea, with cakes and petit fours. Or you can stop off for a buffet supper
on your way back to your cabin after a night in the show lounge.
