Lent Reconciliation Services
In addition to our normal schedule for confessions: Tuesdays; 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in Spanish
Fridays; 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. in English
Saturdays; 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. in English and in Spanish
A reconciliation service is a communal service. The community gathers for song, prayer, readings, and individual confession and
absolution. It is a great opportunity to experience the communal aspect of the sacrament of reconciliation.
There will be NO CONFESSIONS DURING HOLY WEEK.

Confirmation Preparation

CONFIRMATION CELEBRATION- The Sacrament of Confirmation will be celebrated this year on April 22, 2012 at the
5:00 p.m. Mass. Please mark your calendars.
Choir Practice - 7:30 - 8:15 p.m., every Wednesday night in the Great Room. If you enjoy singing and want to join your voice with
ours at the 5:00 p.m. Sunday Mass, please come join us on Wednesdays.
ABLAZE (A Youth Prayer Group) - 6:30 - 7:15 p.m., every Wednesday in the Youth Room where we can spend time learning,
hearing and encountering our Lord and each other.

TALITY CENTER IS ASKING FOR
DONATIONS OF... canned pasta meals (ravioli,
spaghettios, etc.), breakfast cereal (hot or cold), canned
chili, pork and beans, beef stew, peanut butter, jelly, tuna,
canned meats, canned fruit, deodorant, toilet paper, bar soap
(regular or hotel size), toothbrushes. If the Spirit moves you to
donate, please drop the items in one of our donation boxes;
there is one in the Gathering Space and another outside the
church office.

CHRIST IN THE CITY 2012
Christ in the City (CIC) is accepting summer and year-of-service
applications! CIC is looking for faithful and dedicated college-age
Catholics who want to sacrifice three weeks to a year of their life
serving the poor within the Catholic tradition. This program allows
young adults to discover a different side of America by being immersed
in loving and serving the "least among us." They will not
only serve the poor and vulnerable, but be trained in the intellectual

LIGHTHOUSE VOLUNTEER TRAINING
Training will be offered by the staff of White Rose Women’s Center. Topics to be discussed: Overview of Catholic Teaching on
human sexuality, methods of counseling, follow up, referrals, reaching abortion-minded clients, etc. If you have an interest and a
