关于开展青年英语风采大赛的通知 

为积极引导广大青年投身公司“十二五”发展,以赛代 

练、以赛促学,使更多青年成为具备扎实技术本领并熟练运 

用英语的“一专多能”型员工,适应武钢“走出去”战略的发展 

需求,公司团委决定,在公司范围内开展青年英语风采大赛, 

现将相关事宜通知如下。 

一、大赛时间 

2011 年3 月—5 月 

二、大赛主题 

投身十二五共绘新蓝图 

三、大赛方式 

初赛:由各单位自行组织,4 月25 日前完成初赛,择 

优1—2名选手推报到片长单位团委参加复赛。 

复赛:由片长单位团委牵头组织,片区内进行, 5 月 

12 日前完成复赛,每片区产生2 名选手推报到公司团委参 

加决赛。 

决赛:由公司团委组织,邀请专业人士担当比赛评委, 

以综合评分决出大赛成绩。比赛一、二、三等奖获奖人员将

授予公司青年岗位能手荣誉称号。 

四、大赛内容 

1.主题演讲。以“投身十二五,共绘新蓝图”为主题, 

讲述青年如何结合自身岗位实际,为实现公司“十二五”时 

期奋斗目标贡献力量;讲述青年如何在实施中西南发展战略 

和“走出去”战略过程中投身武钢第三次创业;讲述个人发 

展如何与企业长远发展实现有机统一,树立优胜劣汰的竞争 

意识,建立与企业同命运、共发展的信心。文章体裁以记叙、 

论说、抒情为主,不能写成诗歌形式。演讲要求脱稿,参赛 

选手自备演讲稿。 

2.情景交流。参赛选手抽取一个题目,根据题目要求的 

情境内容,与一位搭档进行一对一的现场交谈。交谈内容包 

括:一般日常交际:宾客迎送、日程安排、住宿安排、宴请、 

陪同购物、游览、就诊等;企业介绍:历史、现状等;产品 

介绍:类型、性能、规格、市场、销售等;涉外业务:合作 

意向、投资意向、签订合同、人员培训、议价、折扣、订货、 

交货、投诉等。 

3.才艺展示。可以选择英语说唱、英语脱口秀、英语歌 

唱、英语诗歌朗诵等形式进行才艺展示;或者选取经典外文 

影视片段,对电影原声进行模拟配音,配音在保持电影原主 

线和主题内容不发生变化的前提下,形式上进一步创新;或 

者就当前社会热点话题,参赛选手进行两两分组,分别从正

方和反方两个角度进行辩论PK;也可团队创造英文情景剧, 

但人数不能超过3 人。以上为决赛比赛内容,各片区复赛可 

参照进行。 

五、参赛要求 

1.35 周岁(1976 年1 月1 日后出生)以下武钢青年(含 

其他类型用工青年)均可报名参加。为体现大赛竞争的公平 

性,给更多青年展示机会,在2010 年武钢青年英语演讲大 

赛中成绩位列前三名的青年不参加本次大赛。 

2.主题演讲环节:演讲稿可为演讲人自己撰写,也可以 

是本单位其他青年撰写;演讲内容积极向上,语法、用词规 

范;演讲选手发音清晰,语言流利,富有感染力;演讲时间 

不超过4 分钟。 

3.情景交流环节:参赛选手要准确把握话题情景,在情 

境中灵活应用英语,对白要富有情感、流畅自然,辅以适当 

的肢体语言,能够充分表现情景中人物的思想;对话时间不 

超过3 分钟。 

4.才艺展示环节:才艺展示要求内容健康向上,集中展 

示武钢青年阳光形象,形式上大胆创新,注重时尚元素的运 

用,台风自然,充分展示参赛选手英语口语的应用;表演时 

间不超过4 分钟。 

5. 各单位请于4 月25 日前将进入复赛选手名单,报至 

各片区片长单位团委;进入决赛选手请填写《武钢青年英语

风采大赛决赛报名表》(附后),于5 月12 日前交公司团委 

青工部。 

六、大赛要求 

1.认真组织。各单位要周密部署,认真组织开展英语大 

赛风采初赛,层层选拔优秀选手参加比赛,将爱好英语、有 

特长的选手推报出来。 

2.搭建平台。要加强宣传,善于发现人才,为勤奋学习、 

立志成才的青年搭建平台,服务青年全面发展。 

3.营造氛围。各单位要广泛发动本单位团员青年参加比 

赛,努力营造良好的学习英语的氛围,吸引、引导青年养成 

爱学习、会学习、勤钻研的好习惯,为服务公司发展打下坚 

实的人才基础。

二、决赛安排

机关及各站室不少于 1 名参赛选手,研究生以上学历原

本次比赛由中心团委组织,邀请武汉新东方外语培训学

决出大赛成绩。本次大赛设一等奖1名、二等奖2名、三等奖 

3名,优秀奖若干。比赛前两名将代表质检中心参加公司团 

委第一片区复赛。

四、注意事项 

1.认真组织。各单位要周密部署,认真组织开展英语风 

采大赛初赛,层层选拔优秀选手参加中心三大片区复赛,将

三、评分标准及晋级要求 

1.评委:本次比赛设专业评委及嘉宾评委。中心团委特 

邀武汉新东方外语培训学校教师(含外教)担任专业评委, 

由集团公司团委领导和兄弟单位团委书记担任嘉宾评委,以 

综合评分决出大赛成绩。

2.评分标准:评委根据选手的选材内容、语音语调及表 

演技巧给予评分,总分 100 分,其中主题演讲 50 分、才艺 

展示 20 分、情景交流 30 分。专业评委与嘉宾评委同时对参 

赛选手打分,由工作人员分别算出平均分。专业评委评分占 

总分的 80%、嘉宾评委评分占总分的 20%,加权得出每名参 

赛选手最终的比赛成绩。即: 

综合得分=专业评委平均分×80%+嘉宾评委平均分×20% 

比赛过程采取现场评分、现场报分的形式进行。 

3.晋级要求:本次大赛设一等奖 1 名、二等奖 2 名、三 

等奖 3 名,优秀奖若干。分数最高的两名参赛选手将代表质 

检中心参加集团公司团委第一片区复赛。

质检中心团委联合武汉新东方举办英语风采大赛 

本报讯(特约记者陈健楠通讯员李钢林琳)近日, 

质检中心团委与武汉新东方外语培训学校联合举办的“质检 

中心 2011 年青年英语风采大赛”在该中心开赛。 

据介绍,质检中心近年来引进的国外化检验设备和在线 

表面检测系统等都是英文界面。因此,培养熟练运用英语的 

“一专多能”型员工,提高质检把关工作质量显得尤为重要。 

针对这一情况,该中心团委于前期特邀新东方知名培训教师 

冷宁,为中心各站室 80 余名团员青年,举办了“质检中心 

2011 年青年英语风采大赛培训班”。随后,以质检中心与武 

钢“十二五”发展为主题,举办了此次英语风采大赛。 

本次大赛以“实用为主、以赛促练”为宗旨,采取主题 

演讲、才艺展示、情景交流、听力测试、原版电影配音、情 

景剧表演、现场辩论、知识问答等多种形式考察了质检青年 

英语综合运用能力。决赛中,经过来自十四个站室的 15 名

A repairing experience I once had

This day, I got a ring call, coming from hot rolling 

overhaul team. In the phone, they said there was a 

trouble with a crane. They cost a whole day for it, but 

nothing was better. 


Five minutes later, I arrived hot milling chamber. Just 

got in the door, I met an anxious master Xu. He was 

about to checked the crane again.

This is my office——Mechine Running Technology Committee。 

Don’t look down on its smaller area,we responsibility for all the 

mechines’ management and repairing in Quality Inspection Center。 

NO ability, no entrance. 


After hung it up, I riding an electric car hurried to the 

scene. 


Master Xu told me the situation about the machine. The 

crane’s big vehicle and small vehicle both unmoved. 

Largely steel sheet had no way to be moved, situation 

was emergency.


Alone to the ladder, I clamed up to the top of the crane. Here is 

really high, walking should be carefully and safely. 

Big vehicle and small vehicle’s motor controlled the motions of 

the crane. Obviously, problem is more or less with them. 


Since it was so, let me check the motors. 

Probe test showed the issue:In the three-phase supply,the 

middle red phase is non-electricity, so the crane is strike. 


Via reversing trace, I found the contactor lost a wire. Precisely 

there was another wire besides it, looking super suitable! 

Because of no drawing sheet, masters didn’t connect the wire. 

Through thinking, I acknowledged it can be connected.

This is the control center of the crane:big and small vehicle’s 

cabinet and a resistance box. 

No drawing sheet, no wire marking, aging instruments, falling off 

wires, equipment had been running many years!No wonder the 

problem was not be detected. 

If you are professional, guess what is the resistance box’s 

function? 


Before checking cabinet, abiding to the safety 

rules,we should turn off the switches . 


The crane was moving, but something strange! 

There were three contactors jumping continuously, openclose 

transformations. The crane was crawling, unable to 

accelerate.


Yes!There should be still problems. 

Though thinking, the three contactors jumped all together 

indicated that the motor is wrong in the close loop. 

Only because the contactors is forced closed, the crane could be 

moving, but system need cutting it down for its self protection . 


There were three points below:KD2、D2、KD3. Among 

them, third one had been connected. Where should the lost 

wire be connected between first point and second point? 

Experience told me that connecting to first one----KD2. 


The crane was moving again!Under the 

resistance box’s control, the crane finished the low 

speed to high speed acceleration. 

Machine is completely OK!

Because of no drawing sheet, I had to reverse check, 

finally found the terminal board having only one line to 

output. 

Carefully checking, there was one wire behind wires! 

What a conceal wire! 


Close the switches.“Master Xu,try again!” 


Product line was recovered. My worthiness is approved 

again. I am satisfied. 

I consider the countless tough experience will finally be 

your treasures.


OK, that’s only one work among my tasks. Lots

To be the good quality guards 

I really appreciate your making time in you 

schedules to attend today. What I am going 

to talk about today is to be the good quality 

guards. 

I'm very lucky to work in the WISCO after 

graduation and I'm honored to be assigned 

to the quality inspection center. Till now, I've 

been practiced at the coking quality inspection 

station. The coking quality inspection station is 

mainly to inspect the crude fuel of the incoming 

washed coal, boats carried coal and outsourcing 

coke, and so on. It belongs to be the sensitive jobs. 

In the work, I’m adhering to the principle that 

“call a spade a spade”, inspecting the quality of 

each batch of the original fuel seriously, stopping 

the unqualified raw fuel into the factory, being an 

honest and eligible quality guard, trying my best 

for the WISCO to reduce the economic loss. With 

our joint efforts, I believe that the WISCO's 

tomorrow will be better.

众所周知,传统的表面质量检查工作是依靠人的 

肉眼来进行的。当钢带运行达到一定速度的时候,人眼就 

无法看清楚钢带表面上的质量缺陷。而且人工质量检查不 

可能对100%的钢带表面质量进行检查。要解决这些问题, 

表面质量检测仪器为我们提供了一项很好的选择。表面质 

量检测仪器可以在钢带以较高速度运行的情况下100%对其 

上的表面质量缺陷进行检测,并且可以对检测到的缺陷进 

行分类,最终形成质量检查报告,提供给质检员。质检员 

可以根据质量检查报告来进行质量检查工作。对于一些特 

殊的缺陷比如边浪和孔洞,可以开发出专门的检测仪器来 

对这些缺陷检测。

Establishing the high-quality silicon steel base is not 

only a very important plan in the WISCO twelfth five-yearplan,but 

also the best way of WISCO keeping its competetion 

power.To keep the competetion power in the keen 

competition,production quality is a key element.The good 

produntion quality not only brings the enterprise more 

intrest,but also makes the enterprise more competitive.How 

to guarantee our produntion quality that supply to the 

customers,being a silicon steel quality inspection 

worker,quality inspection instrumentation is a good choice. 

As we all know,traditional surface quality 

inspection depends on human eyes.When the strip 

runs in a certain speed, human eyes can’t see the 

surface defects clearly.And human can’t inspect 

the whole strip surface quality.To solve these 

problems,surface quality inspection instrument 

supplies us a good way.Surface quality inspection 

sensor can inspect the whole surface when the 

strip runs in a high speed, classfy the inspected 

defects,and finaly form the inspection 

report,supply it to the inspector.Inspectors can 

do their work according to the reports.To inspect 

some special defects such as edge wave and 

hole,special inspection instrument can be 

developed.

目前,我们已使用或开发出了多种表面质量检测 

仪器,比如表面质量检测系统,离线边浪自动测量仪,在 

线孔洞检测仪等,这些表面质量检测仪器都在产品质量检 

查中发挥了很多作用。这些仪器的使用提高了质检员的质 

量把关能力。 

Now,we have had several kinds of surface quality 

inspection instrument been used or developed,such 

as surface quality inspection system,automatic off 

line edge wave measuring instrument,on line hole 

inspector and so on,these surface quality 

inspection instrument have play a important role 

in quality inspection.Using of these quality 

inspection instrument increases the inspectors’ 

inspection ability.

• Wisco had the gloriouse history, it played an 

important role in China's development road.And Now, 

great changes will happen in wisco In the next five 

years.

在十二五期间,武钢将发生巨大的变化。 

• "Going out" stratagem is engaged in solving two 

questions. First, of course, is the increasing 

demanding of mineral resources, the second is 

transfering surplus capacity to foreign. In iron ore 

development, after several years’ effort, wisco has 

expanded 8 mine resources outside ,that is billion 

tons of iron ore,whuich can sustain the development 

of wisco in the futhur and greatly reduce the cost of 

our product. 

“走出去”主要是解决两个问题。第一,当然是开发 

矿产资源,第二是把富余的产能考虑放在国外去建设。 

在铁矿石开发方面,经过几年的努力,我们在海外的 

矿山已经扩大到8个点。这些点整个矿石资源量,我估 

计有几百亿吨,完全可以保障武钢今后甚至更长时间 

的可持续发展,大大降低了我们的生产成本。

60million tons by the 12th 5 years, it ‘s about twice of 

current capacity. In order to achieve this goal, a new 

factory will be constructed in fangcheng harbor in 

guangxi province,and it will product 20 milion tons 

steel every year. Meanwhile ,wisco will upgrade the 

existing capacity, merger small factory to 

concentrate steel industry .

吨,这将是目前产能的2倍。为了达到这个目标,武钢 

将在广西防城港建立2000万吨的新厂。同时提升现有

behalf of NO.2 chemical laboratory of 

steelmaking.

• 众所周知,质量对于产品就像血 

液对于身体一样重要。所以质检 

中心在武钢发挥着越来越重要的 

作用,我们中心可以分为三大片 

区,原料质量检查区域,物化检 

验区域,以及产品质量检查区域。 

我们质检人履行着质量卫士的职 

责,不让不合格的原(燃)料入 

厂,不让不合格的半成品流入下 

道工序,不让不合格的成品出 

厂,此外,我们还能提供真实详 

细的数据作为参考。 

• As it is known to all, Quality is to 

product what blood is to body. So 

the quality inspection center plays 

an increasingly important role in 

WISCO, our center can be divided 

into three areas, quality inspection 

area of raw materials, physicochemical 

analysis area and quality 

inspection area of product. we are 

working as safeguard that can 

keep out disqualified raw 

materials and fuel from the source, 

cut off disqualified semi-finished 

products the next process and 

disqualified products into the 

market,in addition, provide true 

and detailed data for reference. 

The inherent quality of bulk of raw materials and 

fuel is invariably crucial prerequisite for stable 

blast furnace, therefore the quality inspection 

area of raw material is always regarded as the 

“sensitve post”.

• Anybody has to take good 

care of samples of the 

purchased raw materials like 

domestic iron ores, flux , 

ferroalloy ,coke and so on. 

The corresponding 

information about them 

should be totally maintained 

secrecy. The validty of data 

is fully guaranteed by means 

of spot test and review. 

Especially we should hold a 

cautious attitude towards 

any abnormal data until 

enventually find out the 

reasons for problems.

石,熔剂矿,铁合金和焦炭等 

等。关于试样的任何信息必须 

保严格保密。通过抽查和复验

When it comes to physico-chemical analysis area, take chemical 

laboratory of steelmaking for instance, the orthodox method of chemical 

analysis has been almost completely replaced by the advanced method 

of instrumental analysis. the component content of steel samples can be 

analyzed by precise instruments in few seconds, which greatly shortens 

the analysis duration and lowers the cost. Subsequently all the results of 

data will be directly submitted into the entity producing and selling 

information system. The accurate and timely online analysis could 

ensure the smooth operation of steelmaking. 

• 提到化验片区,以炼钢化验室为例,传统的化学分 

析方法已经几乎完全被先进的仪器分析方法所取 

代,钢样中的成分含量可以用精密的仪器在几秒钟 

内分析出来,大大地缩短了分析周期,降低了分析 

成本。随后所有的数据结果将会直接上抛到生产与 

销售信息系统。准确及时的在线分析能确保炼钢生 

产的顺行。

strenuous efforts have 

been made to find 

defects and deal with 

them as soon as possible, 

because these final 

products don’t only 

represent the brand 

image of WISCO, but 

also closely correlate 

with tens of thounsands 

of people ’s life.

与此同时,通过更为有效的方式与不法供应商作斗争,准

• In the meantime, More effective measures have been 

already taken to struggle with various illegal suppliers, 

to be exact, autosampling machine has been widely 

adopted to enhance working efficiency and 

representativeness for sampling, furthermore,minimize 

the interference of man-induced factors so as to avoid 

any deception and prevent WISCO from any 

unnecessary economic loss. 

• The quality inspection area 

of product as well as other 

areas aforementioned is 

likened to the centerpiece of 

technical innovation.Long 

term R&D is also being 

conducted to improve the 

capacity of detection 

equipments, which results in 

increased control over the 

surface quality inspection of 

finished products such as 

heavy rail , galvanized 

sheet,etc through automatin.

• As mentioned above, the quality inspection 

center takes up the responsibility for each 

production process of WISCO by virtue of 

normalized management and standardized 

operation, and hence the process quality is 

firmly built on solid ground.

Recently, a free discuss campaign has been launched in 

a large scale in WISCO group ,that is, there is no 

defect in quality, there is no delay in supply, I am 

responsible for the next process, and the last process is 

also responsible for me.
