classmates were
charged with child
pornography after
3 teenage girls
allegedly sent
them nude or
semi-nude cell
phone pictures of
themselves!
In Rochester, NY, a 16 yr. old boy is now
facing up to 7 years in prison for
forwarding a nude photo of his 15 yr. old
girlfriend to his friends.
*20% of teens have sent nude or semi-nude pictures of themselves.
*48% of teens have received sexually suggestive messages.
*21% of girls and 39% of guys have sent sexual content to those they wanted to date.
*51% of teen girls say they have sent sexy photos under pressure from a guy.
*52% of girls sent sexy photos as a “SEXY PRESENT” to a boyfriend.

•Never open, read or respond to angry or hurtful messages .
•Don’t erase the messages, they may be needed to take action.
•If bullied through chat or IM, the bully can often be blocked.
•Tell a trusted adult about the message.
•If you receive an angry or hurtful message from a friend or
someone from school:
1. Think carefully before responding. Decide if it would be
better to respond face-to-face rather than online.
2. If you decide to respond online, take a few minutes to think
about what you want to say before sending it. Remember that your
message can’t be taken back once sent, and that it can be saved or
forwarded to others. Don’t write anything that you may be sorry for
later.
