<strong>ECBE’s</strong> 17th <strong>annual</strong> <strong>conference</strong><br />

Olga A. Almabekova is the Head of the academic research<br />

laboratory “International Language Communication at Siberian<br />

Federal University in Krasnoyarsk, Russia. She is currently<br />

involved in British-Russian project “Internationalising Higher<br />

education”. Research interests include: cross-cultural aspects of<br />

business education, reflective methods in teaching and learning,<br />

blended learning and teaching.<br />

Irina Bagdasaryan is a doctor of Psychological Sciences and is<br />

docent of “management of production and social technologies”<br />

at the Department of the Institute of Business-Processes<br />

Management at the Siberian Federal University. Since 2005 she<br />

has been turning her attentions to the problems of psychology<br />

and management issues of management training.<br />

Dr Evgenya B. Bukharova is a professor of social and economic<br />

planning and is director of the Institute of Economics, Management<br />

and Environmental Studies at Siberian Federal University,<br />

Krasnoyarsk, Russia. She has lectured on a variety of subjects<br />

including mathematical models of macroeconomics, microeconomics,<br />

decision making, risk management and regional economy.<br />

Olgun Cicek is Vice rector of Girne American University (GAU)<br />

in Northern Cyprus.<br />

Liz Craig has been an instructor at CMH Centre de Management<br />

Hôtelier in Paris since 1997. She has worked with CMH directors<br />

to help introduce digital curriculum, ‘net literacy’ and blended<br />

learning methods.<br />

Sualp Davut is General Secretary of Girne American University<br />

(GAU) in Northern Cyprus.<br />

Michelle Dietrich is a Tiffin University MBA graduate.<br />

Roberta Grossi is President and founder of Horizons University<br />

in Paris. She has wide experience as a consultant, trainer and<br />

coach in a broad range of areas including leadership, management<br />

and communications.<br />

Dr. Perry Haan is Professor of Marketing with primary teaching<br />

responsibilities in Asia and Europe. He served as Tiffin University<br />

Dean of the School of Business from 2007-2010. He was awarded<br />

a Fellowship by the International American Association of<br />

Financial Management for his teaching and academic work in<br />

international markets.<br />

Achim Hopbach is Chair of the ENQA Board, serving as President<br />

of ENQA since September 2009. He is Director of the Agency for<br />

Quality Assurance and Accreditation Austria (AQ Austria) which<br />

operates in Vienna, Austria. Achim Hopbach holds a PhD in<br />

History and has been working in higher education since 1997.<br />

Bob Johnson is ECBE Chairman of the Board of Commissioners.<br />

He advises on the design, validation, quality assurance, review<br />

and audit of programmes of learning in universities and in<br />

business organisations; both public and private.<br />

Gennady Kayachev is a professor and deputy director of scientific<br />

and research work at the Institute of Business-Processes<br />

Management of the Siberian Federal University in Krasnoyarsk,<br />

Russian Federation. His research areas and professional interests<br />

include financial markets, institutions, of corporate governance,<br />

mergers and acquisitions.<br />

Vladimir Kureshov is an ECBE Commissioner and is the Director of<br />

Internationl Higher Business School at Siberian State AeroSpace<br />

University (SibSAU) in Krasnoyarsk, Russian Federation.<br />

Dr. Elena Y. Krasovskaya is an associate professor of Marketing<br />

Department and Director of the International Business School<br />

at Alfred Nobel University, in Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine. Her basic<br />

research area and professional interests include educational<br />

marketing, marketing research and service marketing.<br />

Alison Le Cornu is an experienced and qualified Educational<br />

Consultant. She has a background working in Higher Education,<br />

FE colleges and schools, teaching in different subject areas as<br />

well as training academic colleagues in educational practice.<br />

She is based in Oxford, UK.<br />

Laura Silvestro Mays is a professor of management at Tiffin<br />

University. Dr. Mays has worked in the former Soviet Union<br />

Republics, the Middle East and Eastern Europe on governmentsponsored<br />

business creation programs and has co-ordinated<br />

Tiffin University’s overseas MBA and BBA programmes in<br />

Eastern Europe.<br />

Zhanna B. Musatova is a deputy dean of School of Business at the<br />

Plekhanov Russian University of Economics. Currently she delivers<br />

courses in Sales Management, Marketing Management, and<br />

Strategic Marketing and does research marketing and sales<br />

management. She is a member of Academy of Marketing Science.<br />

Prof. Bhavna Nagpal is the Director of Krupanidhi School Of<br />

Management. She has studied at Punjab University and at<br />

Bangalore University. Her forte has been in various aspects of<br />

leadership management which she has been doing successfully<br />

in managing a team of 40 faculties and staff members.<br />

Adlan Parsa is the President of the Scandinavian Arts and<br />

Business Institute. He has also worked as a lawyer in various<br />

fields, including teaching international law, international<br />

relations and diplomacy. Previously he was a teacher at the<br />

University of Helsinki and a CEO at Normist Consultancy.<br />

Dr Robert Rietbroek has been president of both state and private<br />

universities and has implemented international BBA and MBA programmes<br />

in co-operation with more than 40 partners worldwide.<br />

He has wide-ranging experience in validation and accreditation,<br />

both nationally and internationally, and is also a professor of<br />

accounting. He is from the Netherlands<br />

Dmitry A. Shtykhno is Dean of School of Business at the Plekhanov<br />

Russian University of Economics. He teaches Comparative Management,<br />

Change Management, and Contemporary Strategy Analysis.<br />

He is a researcher in the field of diversity management.<br />

Alena A. Stupina is Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor and<br />

Head of Economic and Computer Technologies of Management<br />

Department of the Institute of Business-Processes Management,<br />

Siberian Federal University, Krasnoyarsk, Russian Federation.<br />

Bonnie Tiell is recognised as a national expert on intercollegiate<br />

athletics administration and work-life balance. She co-chairs the<br />

NCAA Women’s Leadership Symposium in Intercollegiate<br />

Athletics and consults with members of the NCAA Research and<br />

Gender Equity Departments. She publishes and consults in the<br />

area of curriculum development, employee development, and<br />

gender equity.<br />

Zoya Vasilyeva is a professor and the director of the Institute of<br />

Business-Processes Management of the Siberian Federal<br />

University. She has been teaching in Russian universities for<br />

more than 25 years. Her main research areas and professional<br />

interests include a variety of regional economics areas such as:<br />

innovation-based growth factors, restructuring of business on<br />

the basis of marketing strategies and strategic development.<br />

Asim Vehbi is CEO and Vice Chancellor of the Council of Girne<br />

American University (GAU) in Northern Cyprus.<br />
