ECBE’s 17th annual conference
Olga A. Almabekova is the Head of the academic research
laboratory “International Language Communication at Siberian
Federal University in Krasnoyarsk, Russia. She is currently
involved in British-Russian project “Internationalising Higher
education”. Research interests include: cross-cultural aspects of
business education, reflective methods in teaching and learning,
blended learning and teaching.
Irina Bagdasaryan is a doctor of Psychological Sciences and is
docent of “management of production and social technologies”
at the Department of the Institute of Business-Processes
Management at the Siberian Federal University. Since 2005 she
has been turning her attentions to the problems of psychology
and management issues of management training.
Dr Evgenya B. Bukharova is a professor of social and economic
planning and is director of the Institute of Economics, Management
and Environmental Studies at Siberian Federal University,
Krasnoyarsk, Russia. She has lectured on a variety of subjects
including mathematical models of macroeconomics, microeconomics,
decision making, risk management and regional economy.
Olgun Cicek is Vice rector of Girne American University (GAU)
in Northern Cyprus.
Liz Craig has been an instructor at CMH Centre de Management
Hôtelier in Paris since 1997. She has worked with CMH directors
to help introduce digital curriculum, ‘net literacy’ and blended
learning methods.
Sualp Davut is General Secretary of Girne American University
(GAU) in Northern Cyprus.
Michelle Dietrich is a Tiffin University MBA graduate.
Roberta Grossi is President and founder of Horizons University
in Paris. She has wide experience as a consultant, trainer and
coach in a broad range of areas including leadership, management
and communications.
Dr. Perry Haan is Professor of Marketing with primary teaching
responsibilities in Asia and Europe. He served as Tiffin University
Dean of the School of Business from 2007-2010. He was awarded
a Fellowship by the International American Association of
Financial Management for his teaching and academic work in
international markets.

Achim Hopbach is Chair of the ENQA Board, serving as President
of ENQA since September 2009. He is Director of the Agency for
Quality Assurance and Accreditation Austria (AQ Austria) which
operates in Vienna, Austria. Achim Hopbach holds a PhD in
History and has been working in higher education since 1997.
Bob Johnson is ECBE Chairman of the Board of Commissioners.
He advises on the design, validation, quality assurance, review
and audit of programmes of learning in universities and in
business organisations; both public and private.
Gennady Kayachev is a professor and deputy director of scientific
and research work at the Institute of Business-Processes
Management of the Siberian Federal University in Krasnoyarsk,
Russian Federation. His research areas and professional interests
include financial markets, institutions, of corporate governance,
mergers and acquisitions.
Vladimir Kureshov is an ECBE Commissioner and is the Director of
Internationl Higher Business School at Siberian State AeroSpace
University (SibSAU) in Krasnoyarsk, Russian Federation.
Dr. Elena Y. Krasovskaya is an associate professor of Marketing
Department and Director of the International Business School
at Alfred Nobel University, in Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine. Her basic
research area and professional interests include educational
marketing, marketing research and service marketing.
Alison Le Cornu is an experienced and qualified Educational
Consultant. She has a background working in Higher Education,
FE colleges and schools, teaching in different subject areas as
well as training academic colleagues in educational practice.
She is based in Oxford, UK.
Laura Silvestro Mays is a professor of management at Tiffin
University. Dr. Mays has worked in the former Soviet Union
Republics, the Middle East and Eastern Europe on governmentsponsored
business creation programs and has co-ordinated
Tiffin University’s overseas MBA and BBA programmes in
Eastern Europe.
Zhanna B. Musatova is a deputy dean of School of Business at the
Plekhanov Russian University of Economics. Currently she delivers
courses in Sales Management, Marketing Management, and
Strategic Marketing and does research marketing and sales
management. She is a member of Academy of Marketing Science.

Prof. Bhavna Nagpal is the Director of Krupanidhi School Of
Management. She has studied at Punjab University and at
Bangalore University. Her forte has been in various aspects of
leadership management which she has been doing successfully
in managing a team of 40 faculties and staff members.
Adlan Parsa is the President of the Scandinavian Arts and
Business Institute. He has also worked as a lawyer in various
fields, including teaching international law, international
relations and diplomacy. Previously he was a teacher at the
University of Helsinki and a CEO at Normist Consultancy.
Dr Robert Rietbroek has been president of both state and private
universities and has implemented international BBA and MBA programmes
in co-operation with more than 40 partners worldwide.
He has wide-ranging experience in validation and accreditation,
both nationally and internationally, and is also a professor of
accounting. He is from the Netherlands
Dmitry A. Shtykhno is Dean of School of Business at the Plekhanov
Russian University of Economics. He teaches Comparative Management,
Change Management, and Contemporary Strategy Analysis.
He is a researcher in the field of diversity management.

Alena A. Stupina is Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor and
Head of Economic and Computer Technologies of Management
Department of the Institute of Business-Processes Management,
Siberian Federal University, Krasnoyarsk, Russian Federation.
Bonnie Tiell is recognised as a national expert on intercollegiate
athletics administration and work-life balance. She co-chairs the
NCAA Women’s Leadership Symposium in Intercollegiate
Athletics and consults with members of the NCAA Research and
Gender Equity Departments. She publishes and consults in the
area of curriculum development, employee development, and
gender equity.
Zoya Vasilyeva is a professor and the director of the Institute of
Business-Processes Management of the Siberian Federal
University. She has been teaching in Russian universities for
more than 25 years. Her main research areas and professional
interests include a variety of regional economics areas such as:
innovation-based growth factors, restructuring of business on
the basis of marketing strategies and strategic development.
Asim Vehbi is CEO and Vice Chancellor of the Council of Girne
American University (GAU) in Northern Cyprus.
