• Slavery in the Old Testament between Hebrews was a contract<br />
of labor, not ceding ownership of one’s body. There was<br />
absolutely no sex slavery; God’s vision for marriage was<br />
retained in all cases and limited indentured servitude.<br />

other slave systems because of the idea in those systems that<br />
the master owns everything the slave produces, saves, or has.
