<strong>Cencic</strong> fe<strong>at</strong>ures a selection of arias<br />
from the rococo era.<br />
The critically acclaimed countertenor<br />
presents opera arias by composers such<br />
as Bardassare Galuppi, Johann Adolf<br />
Hasse, Ferdinando Bertoni, Niccolò Jommeli,<br />
Christoph Willibald Gluck...<br />
It is <strong>at</strong> once a musical journey through<br />
the period between the baroque and the<br />
classical eras, and homage to Gluck, who<br />
would celebr<strong>at</strong>e his 300th birthday in<br />
2014. This program puts a spotlight on<br />
the young Gluck as well as his contemporaries,<br />
fe<strong>at</strong>uring the most dram<strong>at</strong>ic<br />
and the most famous moments of the<br />
Opera Seria.<br />
Just in line with the anniversary year<br />
2014 the recording of the <strong>Rokoko</strong> programme<br />
by <strong>Max</strong> <strong>Emanuel</strong> <strong>Cencic</strong> will<br />
be published worldwide. This is the first<br />
solo CD recorded by <strong>Max</strong> <strong>Emanuel</strong> <strong>Cencic</strong><br />
for Decca. <strong>Cencic</strong>, who won two prestigious<br />
Echo Klassik Awards in 2012, is accompanied<br />
by the superb Armonia Atenea<br />
under its intern<strong>at</strong>ionally renowned<br />
conductor, George Petrou.<br />
