EXPERIENCES AND PARTICULAR STRENGTHS:
Thirty-one years of almost continuous and successful experiences in the management of patients
with all varieties of medical renal disease at a specialized referral Institution (Urology & Nephrology
Center, Mansoura – Egypt). The experiences were gained through the following activities:
1. Running work in the outpatient nephrology clinic twice weekly (20 new patients and 45 patients
on follow up/week on average and extensive responsibilities in selection, preparation and
follow-up of more than 2000 renal allograft recipient.
2. Full participation in the management of in-patients along the past 31years (transplantation and
Nephrology).
3. Vast experiences in hemo and peritoneal dialysis in the management of acute and chronic renal
failure.
4. Good experience in pediatric Nephrology including dialysis and renal transplantation.
5. Advanced experience in use and monitoring recent modalities of therapy in the field of
Nephrology as Plasmapharesis, Pulse therapy, Immunotherapy and Anti-rejection protocols.
6. Skillful in obtaining and processing of kidney biopsies and other invasive technique.
7. Good experiences in training junior physicians in the field of Nephrology.
8. Good experiences in the intensive care work, management of medical emergencies in a surgical
patients and intensive postoperative care.
