Al Baraka Banking Group’s philosophy, in essence, is that Allah, The Almighty, grants mankind the power to
inherit the land on this earth. As such Man is not the owner of wealth but he is responsible for it.
The purpose of Man, by the commandment of Allah, The Almighty, is to construct, embellish, create and
build on this earth. Man is therefore also ordained to create jobs for others. Thus, the wealth bestowed upon
us belongs to Allah, The Almighty.
Therefore, we must apply Shari’a rules related to the ownership of wealth in creating the wealth and in investing,
exchanging, growing and spending the wealth.
