specialties, both active and retired and all medical
students.
Needs Statement and Objectives
Based upon identified patient needs as reported
by the alumni Board members & the 2011 scientific
program evaluations it was determined that
this year’s program would focus on: treatment
of Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, opioid treatment
programs, the impact of changes in the health
care environment on patient care , DNR issues
In the delivery room and new treatments for
ocular infectious diseases.
At the conclusion of this program participants
will be provided information to increase their
knowledge/understanding regarding: understand
the role of radiological procedures in
treating Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma; become
aware of how electronic information systems
enhance opioid treatment programs; learn how
physician leadership and collaboration improves
patient care; identify situations and the medical
