These brand new units were the heart of a drug screening machine that became
available due to a design change at the factory. We have very limited data on
these except the following: When the USB cable is connected to a Windows PC,
it will show up in the device manager as an HID device, a green “on” indicator
will light up and a beep will be heard indicating that the device is ready. Since
we don’t have the software for this device we cannot test it further. When taken
apart you will see a small PC board which has a Cypress microcontroller type
CY7C68013A-56PVXC, a 4 bit binary counter AC161M by TI, a Micrel MIC5219
3.3V regulator, a crystal, and an ADCM2700-000 VGA camera with 18 pin flex
cable that can be easily removed from its connector. The camera lens has
been glued for a fixed focus distance. There is also a bright white SMD LED
that must be used for illuminating the specimen to be tested. The device looks
very interesting to experiment with, however we have no other data and it was
part of a complete drug screening unit (which we don’t have). Size is about 4.1”
diameter x 4.4” high. Sorry, we have no other data or other information on this
(we were told that the ADCM-2650 data sheet probably applies to this camera
too, however we don’t know -the data sheet is on the internet). Brand new in
original manufacturer bag. Picture shows insides.

robot is fun to build and operate. Some of the topics covered include: Sensor Technology, Infrared (IR) Vision,
Transistor Operation, Integrated Circuits, Relay Operation, Electronic Motors and basic electronic concepts

This lab is completely reusable and designed with the student in mind. Each experiment has been thoroughly
tested and developed to offer the maximum educational value. Each robot that the student will build comes

basic technology and fundamental concepts used in common house hold devices such as lighting,
thermostats, fire alarms, and burglar alarms. In order to study these technologies, we are going
to study solar panels, motors, fans, resistors, diodes, LEDs, switches, lamps and batteries. The
easy-to-follow pictorial diagrams will guide the student through 26 chapters containing a variety of
activities and useful experiments along with fun and interesting facts relating to solar energy.
This course offers a hand on approach that is applicable for use in grades junior high up through
