Storage Server Patches Compute Node “Minimal” Packs Installed on database servers after cells are patched Include Infiniband/OFED driver updates, kernel patches, and firmware updates for hardware Minimal packs do not install operating system updates for the database servers Generally involve only one reboot (storage server patches reboot the cell several times) Are applied one node at a time to allow for a rolling patch
