Summer Filmmaking at the University of
Pennsylvania for High School Students
Julian Krinsky Camps & Programs
This four-week intensive studio program teaches students
digital filmmaking tools and processes for the purpose of
articulate, self-expression. Skills in production planning,
scriptwriting, storyboarding, shooting and editing are taught
by a full-time Penn School of Design instructor. The curriculum,
taken from Penn’s undergraduate courses, is sequenced and
paced for high school students. Students stay in dormitories and
eat in dining halls on Penn’s campus. Evening and weekend
activities include trips to downtown Philadelphia, New York
