DAYLILIES (hemerocallis roots)
Day lilies are a great hardy perennial - grows in sun or partial shade with blooms all summer
long. Plant 3 or more in a clump and they will multiply to give you summer after summer of
wonderful blooms. Great in mass plantings for naturalizing (plant 18-24" apart). Try planting
some in front of your tulips and daffodils. After your early spring bulbs have bloomed, your
PlANTING INsTRUCTIONs FOR BUlBs
The chart below will give you an idea as to how deep to plant and the spacing of bulbs . The
depth of planting is measured from the base or bottom of the bulb . The distance between bulbs
is up to you . if you want a more dense planting, leave less space between bulbs .
for example: if you have a garden bed 10’x5’ (50 sq . ft .), you could plant tulips every 6” which
would total 200 bulbs . if you wanted more color you could plant every 4” which would total 450
bulbs . your order will be shipped with complete planting instructions .
