The VDW.GOLD endomotor has a modern design,<br />
well-thought out functions and intuitive menu<br />
guidance. An integrated apex locator makes<br />
simultaneous preparation and length<br />
determination possible. Length determination is<br />
accurate in both humid and dry canal conditions.<br />
Individual settings for all major file systems are<br />
pre-programmed and can also be changed and<br />
saved, allowing the utmost flexibility.<br />
The needs of the dentist, that is practical<br />
functions and simple operation, were the focus<br />
when developing this device. Safety features<br />
such as torque control, acoustic signals and<br />
automatic stop/reverse etc. are naturally<br />
included. An additional programme for canals<br />
with difficult anatomy offers increased protection<br />
against instrument separation.<br />

MTA is a mineral fluoride aggregate endodontic<br />
cement composed of several mineral oxides. It is<br />
constituted by thin hydrophilic particles. When<br />
mixed with water, it initially forms a gel which<br />
soon achieves a rigid set. It is especially indicated<br />
in cases of root canal lateral and furcation<br />
perforations, internal resorption, reverse root<br />
filling, pulp capping and pulpotomy in teeth with<br />
incomplete root development.<br />
It offers several biological and mechanical<br />
advantages when compared to amalgam and zinc<br />
oxide-eugenol cements. Angelus MTA comes in<br />
a 1g bottle which constitutes 7 applications. A<br />
scoop and bottle of distilled water are provided<br />
