- Student Service Center on Parkstraße 6 (Enrolment at Rostock University): 9 – 12 am/ 2 – 5 pm<br />

- Studentenwerk Rostock on St.- Georg - Str. 104-107 (accommodation contract, payment of first<br />

month’s rent and the deposit): 9 – 12 am/ 2 – 5 pm<br />

Possibility to open a bank account (e.g. Deutsche Bank on Kröpeliner Straße) and to pay the semester<br />

fee (122,- €; Please do not transfer from abroad!)<br />

from 2 p.m. onwards: the International Office, the Studentenwerk and the Local Erasmus Initiative<br />

(LEI) are giving important and helpful information concerning your studies at the University of<br />

Rostock, place: Physikalisches Institut, Universitätsplatz 3, Großer Hörsaal on 2 nd floor<br />

1:30 p.m.: Presentation of University Library/ registration for sports courses at the University<br />

1:30 – 2:30 p.m.: Official Welcome of the new foreign students (Universitätskirche)<br />

afterwards, approx. 2.30 p.m.: Guided sightseeing tour through Rostock with the LEI<br />

(Meeting point: Entry Klosterhof, on the left hand of Rostock University mainbuilding at<br />

Universitätsplatz)<br />

6:30 p.m.: pub crawl with the LEI (Meeting point: Doberaner Platz)<br />

Trip to Warnemünde (Rostock’s sea side resort) with LEI, meeting point: central station<br />

Lectures start<br />

You have the chance to consult your department coordinators, lecturers and Student Advisory<br />

Services of your faculties during their office hours.<br />
