Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin
Lakes and Pines
81 Service Units serving 39 counties.
Our Girl Scout Leadership journey has been filled with growth,
challenge, and new opportunities. Our efforts gave girls leadership choices
focused on discovering themselves, connecting with others, and taking action
to make the world a better place.
We experienced growth throughout the organization. We reached more
members, provided more programs, and increased summer camp
participation. These success stories built girl leaders today. Like many
throughout our nation, Lakes and Pines faced a difficult financial path.
We are confident the coming year will bring successes. We have a dedicated
Board of Directors, committed funders, and caring volunteers to move forward.
There is a solid plan for continuing our work and remaining a strong and resourceful council delivering leadership
experiences to girls.
Our volunteers and financial supporters provide the building blocks in our foundation of girl leadership, and
we couldn’t have achieved our success and growth this year without you. Enjoy reading a snapshot of our
leadership journey over the past year, and our quest to build girls of courage, confidence, and character who make
our world a better place.
