CA(M), CFP, ATII, MBA(USM), B.ACC(Malaya), Certified RFP Trainer (CRT).<br />
Mr. Hong is a Chartered Accountant, ATII, CFP® Pr<strong>of</strong>essional and Certified RFP Trainer (CRT). He<br />
gained his MBA degree from Universiti Sains <strong>Malaysia</strong> and Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Accountancy degree from<br />
Universiti Malaya. He completed a research thesis <strong>of</strong> “Empirical Study <strong>of</strong> Black-Scholes Warrant<br />
Pricing Model On the Stock Exchange <strong>of</strong> <strong>Malaysia</strong>”and was named to the Dean’s list by USM<br />
School <strong>of</strong> Management for excellence MBA performance in 2003. He was not only among the<br />
straight-A STPM students in 1993, he was awarded the top 3 ‘Best STPM Result Students’ in<br />
<strong>Malaysia</strong>. He is currentlya <strong>Financial</strong> Controller serving a MNC and has wide exposure in costing<br />
and treasury. He is also a freelance planner/speaker for Accounting and Business Degree, and<br />
CFP courses (Module 1, 4 & 5 since 2004). He authored Module 5 Retirement <strong>Planning</strong> Study Text<br />
for KMDC and his main areas <strong>of</strong> academic interests are corporate and personal finance,<br />
investment and retirement planning.He has exposure in both the academic field and in the industry.
