EL MENSAJE DEL OBISPO (continuo de la paginacion 3)
Mi experiencia de esta extensa perspectiva es que ella tiene en mí dos efectos opuestos.
De una parte ella crea un sentido de urgencia. Estar consciente de algunas de las maravillosas
cosas que están haciendo otros, intensifica un deseo de hacer o de ver realizadas,
cosas maravillosas similares.
El otro efecto que esta perspectiva da es casi lo opuesto; es un efecto tranquilizante.
Básicamente me dice: no estés ansioso. No estés ansioso porque con el tiempo, las vidas
dedicadas dan maravilloso, pero a menudo, inesperado fruto.
La perspectiva que la gestión refuerza es la excitante confianza de que –sin importar
lo que nos ocurra- en última instancia, todas las cosas están en las buenas manos de Dios.
Este mensaje final del Obispo Sisk es una adaptación de una parte del sermón que él predicó en
la Catedral de San Juan el Divino, el sábado, 5 de enero en la Celebración de su Episcopado.
