INSTRUCTIONS FOR SELECTED CANDIDATES
Congratulations on being selected to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) Programme at Jaypee Business School
(JBS), a Constituent of Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida for the Batch 2012‐2014. You are required to
arrange for deposition of fee as per policy outlined and thereafter register yourself on the date given below.
Fee Deposition Schedule
(a) You are required to deposit Rs. 1.20 Lacs (50% of fee for the Academic Session 2012‐13) through Demand Draft in
favor of “Jaypee Business School” payable at ‘Noida/Delhi’ by March 30, 2012. No extension of dates shall be
allowed.
(b) The balance fee of Rs. 1.33 Lacs for Academic Session 2012‐13 (Rs. 1.20 Lacs as balance of fee & Rs. 13,000/‐ for study
material) shall be payable on the date of registration i.e. on June 30, 2012.
(c) If you do not register on the specified date i.e. on June 30, 2012, you will have no claim on the seat and shall forfeit
the same.
Academic Schedule
The orientation classes for the new session shall commence on June 25, 2012. Attending orientation classes is mandatory.
The Registration for the Academic Session 2012‐13 will be done in person only on June 30, 2012 at JBS, Noida. Late
registration is not allowed. Failure to register shall lead to cancellation of your seat. You will be allotted an Enrollment No.
after the Registration. The Enrollment No. is your personal identity and should be used for any reference with the Institute.

Documentation
You are required to present yourself, along with following documents on the date of registration i.e. 30 June, 2012:
(a) Character and Migration/ Transfer Certificate in original from the Head of the Institute/University last attended.
(b) Original and one self attested copy of each of Marks Sheet and Certificate of High School (10 th ), intermediate (12 th ),
Graduation or equivalent examination passes e.g. B.Tech./BBA/B.Com/BA etc.
(c) Originals at (b) above shall be returned after verification.
(d) Medical certificate of fitness from MBBS qualified doctor (on his/her letter head or letter head of the hospital) stating
that you are free from any communicable disease. In case you are suffering from or ever suffered from diseases which
need immediate medical attention like Congenial Heart disease, Rheumatic Septal Deficiency, Bronchial Asthma,
Epileptic Fits, Diabetes Mellitus etc, the same must be mentioned in the medical certificate. No specific format is
needed. Further, your medical history, if any, must be declared and informed to the medical officer of the Institute at
the time of joining to enable quicker and suitable response in case of emergency.
(e) Three copies of passport size colored photograph.
(f) Notarized copies of Anti Ragging undertaking; one signed by the student and other signed by the parents. You may
download the formats for same from website www.jiit.ac.in under Notice Board. A copy of same is also enclosed.
(g) All JBS students shall be members of Jaypee Youth Club & required to pay a membership fee of Rs. 700/‐ at the time of Registration.
Note: In case you are not able to submit the academic documents listed above for the reasons beyond your control, you
may be allowed to submit the same latest by September 30, 2012 after giving an undertaking and on obtaining approval
of the same from Director, JBS. In case you fail to submit the documents by September 30, 2012, the admission shall stand
cancelled. Requests for extension of dates, for any reason whatsoever, shall not be allowed.
Refund Policy
Please read the instructions, as below, very carefully on the Refund Policy. No representation shall be accepted, for
ignorance or delay in request for withdrawal.
(a) In compliance to Instructions of MHRD / AICTE, the Institute shall refund the amounts deposited by the candidates
who wish to withdraw before April 15, 2012 after deducting a processing fee of Rs. 1000/‐ (one thousand only).
Therefore, the request for withdrawal must be made in writing and must reach, Registrar JIIT, Noida as early as
possible but latest by April 15, 2012 (Being the last date of admission procedure). Non receipt of requests for
withdrawals due to postal failure / delays is responsibility of the candidate.
(b) No refunds shall be made thereafter.
Hostel:
(a) Your request for hostel has been noted.
(b) The request shall be considered only for Non‐NCR candidates.
(c) The merit is being put‐up separately;
(d) Those allotted hostel are required to pay the annual hostel charges of Rs.65,000/‐ by March 30, 2012.
General Instructions
(a) You shall be sent instructions regarding summer school / orientation classes separately by the JBS. Please monitor
your e‐mails. The summer school is tentatively scheduled from May 14, 2012 for approx one week. It is free of any
charges. The orientation classes are mandatory and shall commence w.e.f. June 25, 2012.
(b) Placement after education is a process dependent on knowledge acquired by students, his / her aptitude and attitude,
besides the economic conditions prevailing around us. JBS tries to prepare the students to make meaningful
contribution in corporate world besides furthering once professional goals. It is specifically notified that JBS in any way
is not guaranteeing Campus placement at any stage and expects its students to make their own mark in the corporate
world in true traditions of our famous “Gurukul Teachings”.
(c) Ragging is prohibited as per the decision of the Supreme Court of India in Writ Petition No. (C) 656/1998 in the
campus. Strict anti‐ragging measures have been instituted to ensure that the campus is free from any such incidents.
Any one found indulging in ragging is likely to be punished appropriately, which may include expulsion from the
Institute. Each student and parent is required to submit a notarized anti‐ragging undertaking as per instructions given
above on the date of joining.
(d) Please note that the Institute reserves the right to withhold your result or cancel the admission at any time during
your stay because of submitting false information / facts.
(e) Your registration to join the Institute shall be taken as your acceptance to abide by all the conditions stated above and
also the rules, regulations or standing orders issued by the Institute from time to time. Non observance of any of
these conditions or violation of any of the rules, regulations, orders etc. shall lead to your termination from the JBS.
