On behalf of the patients and families who benefit from the care provided
by the VNA and Nightingale Private Duty Nursing, thank you for your
generous support. Because you share our vision to provide the highest
quality patient care, we are truly making a difference.
As you read through this Annual Report, you will come to understand
the immense kindness of our community. From the smallest heartfelt
gift, to the large gift supporting our Hospice House, to volunteering at
our annual Golf-A-Thon, your generosity continues to inspire us.
Whether you give your Time, Trust, or Treasures, you help us make a
difference. We are grateful for the continuing loyalty of longtime friends
and thankful for the new supporters we have gained over the past year…
you all make an impact.
With your continued support, we will be there for you, your family, and
friends should you need our healthcare services. Some of you may not
realize it, but you do have a choice for home health services—so don’t
leave the hospital, nursing facility, physical rehabilitation, emergency
room, or physician office without the VNA or Nightingale.

In 2011, we continued to build
the B.E.S.T. home health and
hospice agency. Some of our
accomplishments include:
Budget: VNA experienced growth
in the need for our services, and
through the help of your financial
donations, we were able to meet our
financial targets leaving a surplus
to carry us forward into 2012.
Experience: More than 90%
of our patients, clients, and families
would recommend our services to
their friends, family, and neighbors.
Safety: We have continued to
improve our publicly reported quality
