the service. The ALS System is available for those with hearing
impairments. A nursery room is also available and is located at the
bottom of the west basement stairs.
WORSHIP NOTES
Next Sunday evening, the Sibley CRC has invited our church along with the
Ocheyedan CRC to a Prayer service for rain, beginning at 5 PM.
An offering will be received for Cary Christian Center.
CONGREGATIONAL LIFE
GEMS Sub Sandwich Fundraiser ~ a sign-up sheet on the literature
table. TODAY is the deadline to order subs. The subs will be made
on Tuesday, March 19, and anyone who wishes to help GEMS Counselors
assemble them, please talk to a counselor.
Sunday Night Bible Study group will meet this evening at 7:15 p.m.
Larry & Karen Bosma will provide lunch and lead us in DVD and Lesson
#4 “Living Stones”. All are welcome to attend!

The Ladies Wednesday Evening Bible Study will be collecting items for Hygiene
Kits and you’re welcome to help. At Quilt Days (March 12 & 13), lap robes will
Be made and these kits are delivered with a lap robe to those who receive a
wheelchair through Hope Haven . Items needed: toothpaste, toothbrushes,
shampoo, and sturdy combs. We have enough bar soap and washcloths.

The Evening Ladies Bible Study will meet this Wednesday (March 6) instead
of March 13. Join us in another lesson about the Joy we share in Christ.

Sale. Items needed: Household items, Home décor, Athletic equipment &
Sporting goods, Tools, Toys, Collectables, Furniture, GENTLY used clothes,
Baked goods, etc. If you have any bigger items, let us know in advance so
that we can advertise them! All items will be individually prices. Drop off date
is Wednesday, April 3 from 4 – 7 pm and Thursday, April 4 from 9 – 12 am
at Sanborn Christian. If this time doesn’t work, please contact Holly Iwema
at 712-348-3497 to make other arrangements. If you have any questions

Pops Concert at Western Christian~Join us for our Pops Concert on Thurs.,
March 14, at 7:30 p.m. The Choirs and the 727 Jazz Band will be performing.
If you would like to reserve a table for 8 people (including desserts) please contact
Brenda De Boer dbdb@tcaexpress.net A full table reservation is $125.
Donations for the evening are going to purchase new choir robes for the Senior
Choir. Desserts and seating are available for everyone. It will be a very
enjoyable evening!

~“Majestic Montana” - a travelogue filled with wildlife and historic sites
and monuments, will be hosted by KDCR Radio on Friday, March 8 .
Tickets can be purchased at the door - $5 for adults, $3.50 for students.

Christa Geels: My Lao housemate, Sone, is being pressured by her family to return
to Buddhism. I know she wants to believe, but it would be easier for all of them if
she would give in. Pray for strength for her to stand firm & for God to show himself
as the one true God, and for Julia & I to know how to love & support her.

Love, INC requests prayers for a ‘Loving Help’ client whose son is struggling
with his health and other personal issues.
There are people in our area who are in need. Love, INC, partnering with
21 area churches, is assisting these people with furniture, rides, and most
importantly, deeper fellowship with our Lord. We have had requests from area
brothers or sisters whose needs we’ve been unable to meet, because of our lack
of certain items in our warehouse. Could you help? We are currently in need
of kitchen tables and chairs, beds (mattress, box springs, and frames) twin, full,
and queen, kitchen utensils, pots and pans, and couches. If you have something
to donate, please contact us at 324-9707 and arrange a time to drop off larger
items. Thank you for your ongoing support of the mission and ministry of
