Division 1 As was the case last season, we started of uncertain about who would pitch for our team. We were very fortunate that the Boomerangs Softball Club was happy to help us out by allowing Codie Seale to pitch the initial games for our team. Thank you to Chris Tully, the Boomerangs Club President, and Codie for your support. Alana Bain Jessie Bain Bridget Corver Ashleigh Eldridge Mikaela Eldridge Louise Harriden Laura MacKinnon Alana always gives her best for the team and can play where ever is required. It was great to have Jessie back in the team this season. She is a member of the ACT Open Women’s Team. Our great 3 rd base player and member of the ACT Under 19 Women’s team. Congratulations on making the 2010 Australian Under 19 Women’s squad. She is also an ACT Academy of Sport scholarship holder. A big season for Ashleigh who played for both the ACT Open and Under 19 women’s teams. She is also an ACT Academy of Sport scholarship holder. Ashleigh always gives her best. It is such a pleasure to have Mikaela in our team again this season. She has that spark that can light up the team’s performance. An outstanding player and a made the perfect battery combination with Aimee. A very talented player. She is a member of the ACT Under 19 Women’s team. Shelley Moore Our Sydney based player who joined us when she could. She is a member of the ACT Open Women’s Team. Aimee Murch We were delighted to have Aimee join our team as our pitcher. She is world-class pitcher and as a result of her outstanding performances in the Open Women’s nationals she was selected in the 2010 Australian Women’s Team to play in the Ella Ross Women’s World Championships in Venezuela. Congratulations Aimee. A vibrant character with amazing skills. She is a member of both the ACT Open and Under 19 women’s teams. Congratulations on making the 2010 Australian Under 19 Women’s squad. She is also an ACT Academy of Sport scholarship holder.
From time to time players from other Suthie teams helped out in Division 1. A big thank to the following players.
