A TIME TO APPRECIATE

Church has been hard at work preparing an evening of thanks and appreciation for
them before they leave. Pastor John and Marg have worked so hard among us ‘and
we love them so much. It’s sad that people, especially Pastors, are usually only tc
’. how much they are appreciated when they leave us. But happily, our Church ha been having a “Pastoral Appreciation” celebration every October for tk
past five years, and the only difference with this one is that we are alsc
’\
anking our own Pastor and his family for all their
1 service, we want to say thanks to all the pastors wh
mmunity. These special people who live to serve otk
instrumental in helping families and individuals frc
fe, minister to families; teach parents how to give
their children a nourishing upbringing; counsel the hurting - tho
with troubled maniages, hut backgrounds, who have suffered
abuse, and those struggling with drug and alcohol dependency.
They work long hours and are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a
week. I could write a book, but space doesn’t permit much morc
