The Parent Advisory Board is a<br />

service organization made up of the<br />

parents or guardians of currently<br />

enrolled students. Parent Advisory<br />

Board representatives are selected<br />

each year to support the needs of<br />

the class they represent, along with<br />

addressing the general needs of the<br />

school.<br />

The Parent Advisory Board<br />

focuses on fostering cooperation,<br />

communication and community<br />

among all elements of the school<br />

and provides valuable services to the<br />

school community by orchestrating<br />

support for student events that<br />

enrich each current student's high<br />

school experience.<br />

Parents are encouraged to bring<br />

their enthusiasm and skills to make<br />

campus life for students that much<br />

more memorable. Together they<br />

support the class retreats, Spirit<br />

Week, Prom and the Evening of the<br />

Arts. PAB sponsors an After Prom<br />

Party that offers our students a safe<br />

After Prom experience. This event<br />

is widely supported by our parents<br />

and by the larger community.<br />

It is a wonderfully unique experience<br />

to serve with fellow parents and<br />

journey through <strong>Bishop</strong> together.<br />

The Cardinal Club is a service<br />

organization made up of parents,<br />

community members and <strong>Bishop</strong>’s<br />

Athletic Director. All parents whose<br />

student participates in <strong>Bishop</strong> Athletics<br />

are welcomed to get involved in this fun,<br />

spirited, and family-oriented group.<br />

Our mission is to fundraise for the Athletic<br />

Department; facilitate communication<br />

between the school, coaches, parents and<br />

student athletes; promote and recognize<br />

the achievement of our student athletes;<br />

and provide an opportunity for parents<br />

and students to participate in the <strong>Bishop</strong><br />

athletic experience.<br />

The Cardinal Club organizes The Cardinal<br />

Event, the largest fundraising event of<br />

the year for the Athletic Department. The<br />

Club organizes the sports banquets at<br />

the end of each season to recognize each<br />

student athlete, and the Club coordinates<br />

with the team parents who keep all<br />

parties informed about team activities<br />

and results.
