SBAS Flight Testing Requirements
• Prior to commissioning, each runway served and each approach
• If interference reported/suspected and ground testing cannot confirm
elimination of the source RFI
• If procedure modified or new procedure introduced
• If changes to GBAS config occur such as the location of the GBAS
ground subsystem antenna phase-center, the location of the data link
transmit antenna, or the system database
• If site changes occur with potential to impact GNSS signal reception and
data broadcast transmission
• Following certain maintenance activities
• If periodic flight tests are desired, parameters and intervals will be
determined by individual states Back
