Auburn, Calif.<br />

Guerland captained both the softball<br />

and basketball squads at Bear River<br />

High School. She played shortstop all four years and was named<br />

first team all-league as a junior and a senior, and was also named<br />

team MVP. She was recognized as the league’s best defensive<br />

player as a junior, and earned all-city accolades as a senior. She<br />

helped lead her basketball squad to the league championship<br />

from the point guard position. Chr<strong>is</strong>tina <strong>is</strong> the daughter of David<br />

and Nancy Guerland.<br />

Sarasota, Fla.<br />

Haab was the defensive MVP and team<br />

captain at Sarasota High School last<br />

year. She earned the coaches’ award as a freshman. Haab played<br />

volleyball as a freshman and sophomore. She was named a<br />

scholar-athlete in each of her four years. Nicole <strong>is</strong> the daughter<br />

of Ken and Donna Haab.<br />

For the last two years, Liedlich<br />

captained the B<strong>is</strong>hop Gorman High<br />

School squad and was an honorable mention all-state selection.<br />

She was named team MVP all four years at B<strong>is</strong>hop Gorman, and<br />

was selected first team all-div<strong>is</strong>ion as a senior. She was second<br />

team all-div<strong>is</strong>ion in each of her first three campaigns. Liedlich<br />

was also recognized as a Gatorade Will to Win athlete. She was<br />

the recipient of her high school’s scholar athlete award and was<br />

named a Nevada Silver Scholar. Theresa <strong>is</strong> the daughter of Bill<br />

and Brenda Liedlich.<br />

Meserve<br />

Freshman • UTY<br />

Ticonderoga, N.Y.<br />

Meserve captained the softball, soccer<br />

and basketball squads at<br />

Ticonderoga High School. She was a first team all-state selection<br />

in softball, and earned all-area honors in each of her four<br />

years, playing catcher and shortstop. Meserve led the squad to<br />

the regional championship in 2002 and 2003 and the league championship<br />

in 2000 and 2001. She also earned all-area recognition<br />

in soccer and basketball, and helped lead the basketball squad<br />

to three league championships and the regional championship<br />

in 2002. Kate <strong>is</strong> the daughter of Don and Mary Meserve.<br />

Pembroke Pines, Fla.<br />

Meyer was a three-year captain of the<br />

Charles W. Flanagan High School<br />

squad. She was named first team all-county and second team<br />

all-state as a senior. Meyer also received the scholar-athlete<br />

award at her high school. Jessica <strong>is</strong> the daughter of Jim and L<strong>is</strong>a<br />

Meyer.<br />

M<strong>is</strong>sion Viejo, Calif.<br />

Parks captained her squad at<br />

Cap<strong>is</strong>trano Valley High School, where<br />

she lettered at shortstop for all four years. She was a three-time<br />

all-league selection, and helped lead the team to the league championship<br />

in 2001. Parks was the recipient of the four-year scholar<br />

athlete award. Meredith <strong>is</strong> the daughter of Richard Parks and<br />

Mary Dean.<br />
