Industrial Engineering and Management Administratively, the department of Industrial Engineering and Management is being looked after by Mechanical Engineering Department but the institute has also appointed faculty for this course. It is a diverse branch dealing with whole gamut of activities that include conceptualization of designing and planning production in an organization. Along with mechanical engineering , it encompasses the area of product quality control, operation research & management management, work study & ergonomics, advanced production technology, layout management , production planning control & computer aided design. The department has also a collegiate club of SAE (Society of automobile engineers) northern region.
