Moderately stout hypotypc, CAS 13387 from Lupher's loc. 228, upper<br />

part of Weberg Member of Snowshoe Formation. As slightly less than onefourth<br />

of the outer whorl is nonseptate, the complete adult shell must have<br />

had a diameter of at least 350 mm. This specimen is nearly identical in appearance<br />

with the large adult specimens of Sonninia marginala Buckman (1892,<br />

pis. 62 and 64).
