Our Creative Essentials brochure showcases the very best <strong>of</strong> the ever<br />
changing world <strong>of</strong> interior design. It represents a collection <strong>of</strong> excellent quality<br />
porcelain tiles to suit many tastes and budgets. With tiling becoming more <strong>of</strong> an<br />
accepted trend in home and commercial wall and floor coverings, the variety<br />
<strong>of</strong> style has improved enormously. In addition to this, these contemporary<br />
tiles work surprisingly well in traditional as well as modern interiors, creating a<br />
harmonious eclectic mix <strong>of</strong> surface, texture and colour.<br />

<strong>of</strong> people worldwide. the water shortage in many parts <strong>of</strong> the<br />
world, cross-border pollution and rising sea levels are just a few <strong>of</strong><br />
the challenges facing our global population.<br />
we strongly believe that through more responsible choices,<br />
customers, companies and institutions can orientate the market<br />

tiles from obsolete stocks and breakages, reducing local emissions<br />
- predominantly electric powered internal moving equipment<br />

- encourage communications predominantly by email, both internal<br />
and external, to reduce unnecessary print<br />

the ecolabel<br />
the ecolabel tiles are produced by a process using farsightedness and a respect for the environment. the factor<br />
producing these tiles was one <strong>of</strong> the first to obtain the ecolabel certification. these ecolabel tiles are produced to<br />
look at the future also when it concerns respect <strong>of</strong> the nature and care <strong>of</strong> the environmental impact. the ecolabel is a<br />
quality mark issued by the european union. the attribution system certifies environmentally friendly products.<br />
environmental criteria for granting the ecolabel mark are based on scientific studies and extensive consultations with<br />
various economic and social elements. only products with a low environmental impact can get the label.<br />
leed<br />
leed (leadership in energy and environmental design) today represents the most adopted rating system for buildings<br />
in the us and is also now used in more than 40 countries around the world. the leed credits, established by the u.s.<br />
green building council, certify the eco-sustainable, social and economic requisites <strong>of</strong> buildings, which can “function” in<br />
a sustainable and autonomous way in terms <strong>of</strong> energy and which have a low-environmental impact throughout their<br />
life-cycle. leed is therefore a rating system (green building rating system) established to encourage the development<br />
<strong>of</strong> “green” buildings.<br />
the system is based on the award <strong>of</strong> points for every single eco-sustainable requisite <strong>of</strong> a building.<br />
totalling up all the awarded points, the building obtains a certain eco-sustainable level.<br />

We established <strong>Tiles</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Stow</strong> in 1988 as a means to<br />
demonstrate our creative sculpting and painting skills – our<br />
love <strong>of</strong> art and design found an outlet in our hand made and<br />
hand painted tiles. Over the years we have produced many<br />
varied tile ranges together with special commissions and<br />
projects for commercial as well as domestic interiors.<br />
Ours is a family business where we enjoy working closely with<br />
our clients to design and choose tiles which personalise their<br />
