Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba is the Kaliyuga Avatar, who inspires, motivates &
guides every generation, especially the youth, the most important phase of a
man’s life, on the path of right living. He gently & patiently teaches every
individual to utilize time in such a manner that not only does it lead to the
transformation of the individual but also benefits society. Thus, with His Grace
& under His Guidance & Inspiration eight conferences were held in
Maharashtra & Goa between 8th March to 21st June 2009 where 5175 youth
enthusiastically participated from 28 Districts.

& inspire them and more importantly to explain the details of the Sri Sathya Sai
Village Integrated Program as guided by our Lord & Master Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai

transformed into towns and cities. In fact, I don’t like such transformation. First and

Taking inspiration from Bhagawan, here is a small act of
service undertaken by some of the Sai Youth from
Washim, District of Maharashtra.
When this group of Sai Youth went to a village for Grama
Seva they approached each house in the village to know
their problems and needs. In one such house, a mother
expressed her helplessness in correcting the behaviour
of her son. The son was a sight of utter disgust. He had
not taken bath for many months, his hair was unkempt,
and his body was full of dirt, with stench emnating from
him and his unclean clothes. The villagers had
designated this young boy as 'Mad'. His heart broken
mother pleaded to our Sai Youth for help. The zealous
Sai Youth decided to act in response to the poor
mother's request.
Amidst the Sai Youth there was a Doctor who treated
this young boy and discovered that he was not mad. He
just needed to be hygienic and clean. Sai Youth engaged
into service and they arranged to have him clean shaven
and gave him a hard scrub . This by itself was no mean
task, because no ordinary body soap could help remove
the dirt. They had to use a strong detergent to wash him
clean. Therafter, they gave him a fresh pair of clothes,
applied vibhuti on his forehead & made him pray &
prostrate in front of our Cosmic Change Initiator, our
beloved SAI.
This act by the dedicated Sai Youth inspired this young
boy to Transform. This boy, is now not only hygienic and
clean but also has started earning and is a source of
inspiration for many youth in the village.
This is but one tiny drop in the ocean of this journey of
life. Nevertheless, one cannot negate the value of each
drop that goes to make the whole ocean !

“Sai's Healing Touch Reaches the Adivasi Villagers"
It is not surprising, but definitely touching, to note that Swami’s Grace and Blessings are
experienced in the villages where the implementation of the Sri Sathya Sai Village Integration
Program is in progress. Reflecting back, one could recount many heart rendering & soul stirring
experiences, one of which is about this little girl of 5yrs, who fell seriously ill with no medical
aid for three full days. Her poor father had no money to take his daughter for treatment to the
nearest medical centre which was 20kms away from their village. After several failed attempts
to arrange for some money, the father, out of sheer exhaustion fell asleep.
Lo behold, he dreamt, " Shirdi Sai Baba approaches him in his sleep and asks him to take his
daughter to the main road and assures him that within 10 minutes, a van equipped with
doctors and medicines would pass by and help restore his daughter’s health ".
The man wakes up in a daze, wondering what he saw in the dream & goes back to sleep.
Once again, " Shirdi Sai Baba comes and literally lifts him up and commands him to rush to the
main road so that his daughter’s life could be saved."
The father quickly wakes up and carries his daughter in his arms and rushes to the main road.
As foretold by Shirdi Sai Baba in his dream, exactly after 10 minutes, arrives Sri Sathya Sai
Mobile Medicare Van ! The villager stops the van and requests for treatment for his daughter.
The doctors in the van quickly attended to the girl and rushed her to a nearby hospital for
further treatment since the child was indeed seriously ill. Needless to say, that the child was
treated in the nick of time and was completely cured!
How can one adequately describe the Glory and the Grandeur of our dear Lord? All we can do
is to grab the wonderful opportunity that He has bestowed on us and drench ourselves in His
Divinity which will Transform us into humble humane beings and take us closer to Him, which
be our ultimate goal !

“Sai's Healing Touch ... "
This incident is about a family from one
of the villages in the district of Buldana,
M a h a r a s h t r a , w h o s e h o u s e
accidentally caught fire, thus severely
scalding the members of the family
especially a little child who was barely
few months old. The family then
approached, The Sri Sathya Sai
Organization, Buldhana for help. The
Youth Coordinator of Buldana was on
his way to the railway station to
participate in Parthi Yatra. Hearing this
incident, he immediately rushed back
from the station and responded by
taking the child to the hospital and
administering immediate treatment.
After comforting the family, the Youth
Coordinator came over to Parthi
although the program in connection
with the Parthi Yatra had already begun
a few days ago. After coming to Parthi,
he intensely prayed to Bhagavan for the
child's recovery. The Merciful Bhagwan
also responded to his prayers and
blessed him during the Parthi Yatra .
After he returned from Parthi, the child
was taken for plastic surgery. It would
not be surprising to mention that the
child is now fine. By the Grace of
Bhagawan, the Youth Wing of Buldhana
ensured that the house, which was
completely gutted down in the fire, was
rebuilt for the family.
Strange indeed are the ways of the
Lord, the Director of this play called
Life, enacted on the stage of the
Universe! You cannot fathom whom
He chooses to play what role in His
divine drama ! However it is important
to remember that we should always
“Be Ever Ready” to respond to His Call!!

O Lord, take my love,
and let it flow in fullness of devotion to Thee;
O Lord, take my hands,
and let them work incessantly for Thee;
O Lord, take my soul,
and let it be merged in One with Thee;
O Lord, take my mind and thoughts,
and let them be in tune with Thee;
O Lord, take my everything,
and let me be an instrument to work for Thee.
