Glide ®<br />
12 years into the adventure, the<br />
CVO branch of Harley Davidson<br />
is now modifying 4 models of<br />
the Motor Company’s line up.<br />
Testing components that may, or<br />
may not, make it into production<br />
later, until anything the CVO<br />
engineers do does makes it into<br />
the regular line up, CVO owners<br />
have hardware that is totally<br />
custom and proper to their<br />
model. This year marks the first<br />
time the Street Glide makes it in<br />
the hands of the CVO magicians.<br />
For 2011, the Harley-Davidson<br />
CVO Street Glide (FLHXSE)<br />
returns, rolling out on a new<br />
19-inch Agitator front wheel,<br />
the largest-diameter wheel ever<br />
offered on a Harley-Davidson<br />
Touring motorcycle.<br />
I was only too well aware of<br />
that when I took delivery of the<br />
beautiful model I rode, one dark<br />
evening, and eventually had to<br />
park it on lose gravel in the dead<br />
of night. I am sweating all over<br />
again, just typing these words.<br />
