Course Description<br />

The ANSYS <strong>CFX</strong> <strong>Combustion</strong> <strong>and</strong> <strong>Radiation</strong> course is1 -day advanced course covering modeling<br />

approaches for combustion & radiation, usage of models available in ANSYS <strong>CFX</strong>, <strong>and</strong> useful tips for<br />

modeling. Students should have completed the Introductory course or have experience running<br />

ANSYS <strong>CFX</strong>.<br />

ANSYS <strong>CFX</strong> Turbulence<br />

Course Description<br />

This course covers advanced topics in turbulence modeling, viz, two equation turbulence models like<br />

k-epsilon, k-omega, SST, wall functions, 2nd order Reynolds Stress models, a discussion of large<br />

eddy simulation, Detached eddy simulation <strong>and</strong> transition modeling. The course includes modeling<br />

tips <strong>and</strong> practical examples.<br />

ANSYS <strong>CFX</strong> for Turbomachinery<br />

Course Description<br />

The primary goal of this course is to cover the advanced topics on turbomachinery in ANSYS <strong>CFX</strong><br />

environment. All course material is designed to educate the advanced users on the best practices for<br />

effectively calculating broad range of real-world turbomachinery problems from start to finish. Users<br />

will have h<strong>and</strong>s-on time to work through the entire simulation process.<br />

Course Topics Include:<br />

• Introduction to ANSYS Turbomachinery Tools<br />

• Basic Equation for Rotating flow<br />

• Modeling Approaches for Turbomachinery<br />

• Post Processing Requirements in Turbomachinery Simulations<br />

• Multiphase <strong>and</strong> particle tracking simulation for Turbomachinery applications<br />

• H<strong>and</strong>s On Session<br />

Prerequisites<br />

• Completion of the Introduction to ANSYS <strong>CFX</strong> course is required.<br />

• Experience with ANSYS <strong>CFX</strong> is strongly recommended.


Fee: Rs 27,000/- + taxes for all three days.<br />

If user wishes to attend only one day on any of the specified topics, then the fee for one topic is<br />
