• Race bias and regulatory depletion. Experimental study of the effects of limiting
communications on race bias in the context of criminal sentencing. (Principal
investigator, with Eugene Borgida and Rachel Burns.)
• Gender and caregiver bias under the stereotype-content model. Experimental
and content analytic study in the context of employment arbitration.
(Collaboration with Eugene Borgida and Grace Deason.)
• Restorative justice in victim and offender mediation. A longitudinal analog
experiment to assess the effects of a two-stage conflict mediation intervention.
(Collaboration with Marti Hope Gonzales, Corrie Hunt, and Allison Williams.)
• Social versus legal consequences. Experimental comparison of the effects of two
message frames on reducing the incidence of texting while driving.
(Collaboration with Alexander Rothman and Patrick Dwyer.)
• Cameras in the courtroom. A case study in barriers to use of field experiments to
test procedural innovations in court. (Collaboration with Eugene Borgida,
Christopher Federico, Andrea Miller, and Joseph Vitriol.)
