The Senate is the elected governance body of Hunter College; as elected chair, I oversee the work of the legislative body and of the
committees of the Senate and work closely with administration.

Responsible for creating a center, workshops for faculty and adjunct faculty, coordinating with administration to create a college-wide
assessment program, completion of FIPSE grant on “language diversity” in the College; initial research to seek grants helping first generation
students adjust to college life.

Responsible for program curriculum, hiring of adjuncts, coordinating cross listed courses with other departments.
