Cy-Fair ISD trustees renewed for another
year June 28 the district’s optional 20
percent homestead exemption. The
exemption gives homeowners within the
district a 20-percent reduction on their
property taxes. It also amounts to $3.5
billion in taxable value and $37 million in
maintenance and operations revenue.
