“Érase una vez una comunidad en la que
nada era lo que parecía pero todo el mundo era – o
al menos parecía ser feliz. Mientras tanto,
imperceptibles cambios anunciaban la llegada del
invierno que por extraño que pareciese, parecía
tener intención de quedarse por mucho tiempo.
Algunos, confiados, lo achacaban al natural paso
de las estaciones, pero otros, los precavidos, veían en
ello señales de un cambio de rumbo, de que nada
sería ya igual que antes y no se equivocaron.”
Puede que desde la publicación del primer
número de En Otro Idioma hace dos años muchos
hayamos pasado de la confianza a una profunda
decepción - que no deja de ser más que reflejo de un
descontento generalizado ante una crisis que hace
tiempo ha dejado de ser puramente económica. Y - a
pesar de ello – seguimos poniendo en nuestro
quehacer diario ilusión y tenacidad con el
convencimiento de que creamos espacios de
encuentros en nuestras aulas y fuera de ellas. Por
ello, quiero agradecer de todo corazón a todos
vosotros, el que hayáis hecho posible que de nuevo
salga a la luz el segundo número de nuestra
revista. La portada es sobria – al igual que lo está
siendo la realidad para muchos. Sin embargo, como
vais a ver, su interior está lleno de colorido, reflejo
de la actitud de esta comunidad educativa.

Los lingüistas, psicólogos, profesores y educadores
consideran que los beneficios de aprender un idioma
desde el momento “cero” de la vida son incalculables.
Pero la inmensa mayoría del alumnado de la Escuela
Oficial de Idiomas experimentan el aprendizaje de una
lengua extranjera cuando, ya adultos, DECIDEN
emprender tal andadura.
Si bien el aprendizaje en edad adulta entraña no pocas
dificultades en numerosas ocasiones, éste va
acompañado de tesón, empeño e ilusión y lo convierte en
una vivencia que hay que atesorar.
Hace unos años, muchos alumnos se decidían a estudiar
un idioma cuando preparaban las maletas para descubrir
otras culturas o en septiembre, a la vuelta de esas
vacaciones en el extranjero.
Hoy en día, la crisis que vivimos ha atraído a muchos a
hallar un lugar donde formarse para poder emprender el
arduo viaje de la búsqueda de un empleo, mejorar sus
condiciones de trabajo, encontrar nuevas oportunidades
o simplemente practicar un nuevo hobby: disfrutar
aprendiendo idiomas.
Por estas razones y por miles de motivos más, es
necesario que defendamos nuestras enseñanzas:
públicas y de calidad.

WRITING CLUB (by Nicola)
A new tool for working together
to share our opinions and improve
our writing skills in English
This year, as part of our programme of extra skills support
classes in the English Department, we have been
experimenting with a new idea - an online writing course
using a wiki, or an interactive web site.
The wiki works more as a place to practise than as a
class. Basically, the moderator (me in this case!) posts a
topic for students to write about and sometimes tips on
how to write certain types of texts, and then the members
of the wiki (the students) post their texts on the same
page.
All the members of the wiki can read, edit and comment
on the contributions made. The moderator usually makes
corrections as well as comments, and everyone can
share opinions on what each person has written. It's like
an online community or forum – what each member writes
is more important than how it is written, although the
moderator tries to help the members to express
themselves as well as possible in English. Here's what
some of this year's members think about the experience:

Albert Einstein war der wichtigste und berühmteste Wissenschaftler des 20. Jahrhunderts wegen seiner Arbeit in
der theoretischen Physik. Er ist 1879 in Ulm, Deutschland, geboren. Er war Jude und wegen der komplizierten Geschichte
von Deutschland der Zeit, wechselte er viele Male seine Staatsangehörigkeit: Deutscher, dann staatenlos, danach
Schweizer, Österreicher, wieder Deutscher und schließlich US-Amerikaner. Er starb 1955 in Princeton, New Jersey, als US-
Amerikaner und schweizer Staatsbürger. 1905, als er beim Patentamt in Bern arbeitete, veröffentlichte er seine Spezielle
Relativitätstheorie, die die berühmte Gleichung E=mc² formulierte. 1915 veröffentlichte er die allgemeine
Relativitätstheorie, die die Gravitation reformulierte und den Grund zu der Kosmologie legte. Als die britischen
Beobachtungen 1919 an einer Sonnenfinsternis seine Theorien prüften, wurde er weltbekannt.
1922 bekam er den Nobelpreis für Physik. Nicht für die Relativitätstheorie, sondern für andere Arbeiten über den
photoelektrischen Effekt. Eigentlich wurde die Relativitätstheorie von dem Komitee in Stockholm nicht verstanden.
Außerdem war die noch zu revolutionär.

Les ondes courtes
Actuellement presque tous les habitants de l'Europe et de l'Amérique (et de plus en plus le reste du monde), sont
connectés sur l'Internet. On peut trouver des photos, des informations de l'autre coté de la planète. Donc la distance
entre n'importe quels points devient seulement un click de la souris.
Ainsi les gens qui ont quitté leur pays peuvent contacter leurs familles à travers l'ordinateur; la voix, les images,
tout est envoyé par les câbles. En revanche il y a des personnes qui n'ont pas d'accès au réseau mondial, même si les
pays en voie de développement essaient de connecter tous les habitants (grâce à la téléphonie portable ) il y a des
zones où la communication n'est pas encore arrivée.
Les nouveaux moyens de communications exigent une connexion de fibre optique, ADSL ou WIFI ainsi que des
appareils électroniques très sophistiqués. À cause de l'impossibilité d'accomplir les conditions précédentes on peut
profiter d'une technologie ancienne qui n'exige qu'un appareil de radio d'ondes courtes.
La communication par HF (High Frequency) ou ondes courtes réussit à atteindre des distances de milliers de
kilomètres, grâce aux rebonds des ondes entre la surface de la Terre et l'ionosphère (une couche de l’atmosphère).
Le spectre électromagnétique est plein de voix de toutes les langues, et emporte des nouvelles, des chansons et des
histoires à la recherche des auditeurs.
De cette façon pendant le XXe siècle, les gens qui habitaient quelque part pouvaient connaître les coutumes, les
traditions et la langue d'un autre pays. De même, des personnes qui étaient loin de leur pays réussissaient à se
sentir chez eux pendant les heures des programmes, en leur langue maternelle, envoyés des stations de radio
lointaines.
Aujourd'hui les ondes courtes sont utilisées seulement pour les habitants des déserts, des océans et des régions que la
civilisation n'a pas encore conquises. Par conséquent je vous encourage à écouter ces stations pour maintenir le seul
moyen terrestre de communications que partage le monde entier et en même temps apprendre des langues

CREATIVE WRITING
(BY MAI & NB2A STUDENTS)
This group has been particularly enthusiastic about reading outside the classroom. Several titles
have been read and shared . One of them has especially attracted their attention; “The Woman in
Black” a well-known classic horror story that has recently been turned into a film.
The whole group decided to read it and talk about it in class.The deadline was set on the 2 nd
April, after we returned from our Easter holiday.As everybody was familiar with the story any
activity based on comprehension would be easier than ever. Something that is essential to find
courage and motivation to go on studying, especially at basic levels.
The first activity mixed up listening and wrting skills. The whole group listened to an audio,
Chapter 9, that is roughly the mid point in the story, and were encouraged to take up any notes
they deemed relevant. After that they were divided into four groups; two of them had to tell the
story from the beginning till chapter 9 while the other two had to continue from this chapter till
the end. They really enjoyed doing it.
Here is the result.
Arthur was a young
solicitor. He was married to
Esme, she was a widow and
had four children. One
night the children asked
him to tell them a horror
story. Arthur felt nervous
and he began to remember
his past life.
One day his boss called
Benthley asked him to go to
do some work in a strange
place.
An old woman had died
(Alice Drablow) and he had
to find important
documents anout her will.
Arthur went to the funeral
and discovered that the

Arthur was with his family on Christmas Eve and his children
were talking about horror stories. These stories didn’t frighten
him because he knew that they were false, but his story was
true... Everything started when he was a young man who lived
in London, he was a solicitor. He went to a stange town to
arrange a will. He met a big man in the train who told him about
the old and strange Mrs Drablow. The man advised him that he
didn’t go alone to Eel Marsh House.
In the church he saw a pale and skinny woman, then he saw the
frightening woman. He thought that she was a ghost. He found
a lot of papers in the rooms and he thought that he would need
more time.
people there were very frightening. He met Jerome, a sad and
frightened man, who advised Arthur to be careful, because this
town is a strange place.
Suddenly, near the gravestone, in the funeral he saw a young
woman. She was dressed in black old fashioned clothes. Her
face was thin and white and her look frightened him. He began
to work in Alice Drablow’s house, it was called Eel March House.
When he saw the house, he thought taht it was a lovely place to
live with his girlfriend Stella. Although there was a graveyard
behind it. The house was at the end of a causeway, that was
covered by water several times a day. He stayed in the hotel but
he had to go there several times to work.
Someone carried him in a trap and pony every day. In the house
he always heard to cry a baby,he saw the ghost woman, and he
heard outside strange sounds. His friend Boylew gave him a
little dog called Spider, to accompany him, because he decided

In the morning Spider ran by the causeway , then Arthur walked
fast behind the dog. The tide came in and Spider fell in the mud
and it sunk. Arhur pulled it and caught it. Both were lying on the
mud. Suddenly Mr Daily came and helped him. They came back
to Eel Marsh House.
Arthur went upstairs to pick up some things. All things were
untidied and broken. They came back and had a good dinner.
Arthur went to bed because he was very tired and ill. He slept
for several days adn dreamt with the woman in black. After that
he woke up and he saw her wife Stella. Arthur locked the papers
and he found Jennet and her son’s death certificates.
Finally he talked with Mr. Daily and he asked what had
happened with the woman in black. He said when someone sees
her something bad happens. Arthur said nothing had happened.

Any time somebody saw the ghost of the woman in black a child
died.
A little time after that Arthur went to the park with his wife and
his son. Suddenly Arthur saw the woman in black near a tree.
The trap where his wife and his son were had a terrible crash.
The boy died instantly and his wife a few months after that.
Nowadays Arthur is married to another woman who has several
children, and when the children say: Dad, tell us a horror story,
Arthur remembers the woman in black story and he feels that

Imagine you are a turkey. Thanksgiving is
coming soon.
Now you really don’t want to be chosen for
the dinner table. Write a speech explaining
why your partner is a better choice for the
dinner table:
Why I am a bad choice: Why my partner is a good choice:
- I am slim, thin and athletic ( just skin &
bones)
- I am a bit old.
- I haven’t been vaccinated recently.
- Peacock (Royal Turkey) is a protected
species.
- It´s a big and fat animal, with delicious
meat.
- It’s younger than I am.
- It has been vaccinated a few days ago.
- ‘Common Turkey’ isn’t a protected species.
If I were an American writer turkey, I’d write something like this:

Really, dying today or tomorrow doesn’t matter. Turkeys’ lives are brief. In addition, for
us, the death in Thanksgiving is a great honour. The way to die is not a problem neither:
cutting your slight neck with a dry hit. Even the humans used to cut ‘Royal heads’ in the
past times, as queen Ana Bolena or many people in French Revolution, so it’d be an
interesting death.
However, I would prefer to give this great honour to my partner and friend the Turkish
Turkey. It’s not only because I can make the typical joke: people must use it like ‘Turkish
head’
I’ll explain my most serious reasons:
1. Look at me, we can see my slim, thin and athletic body, really almost skin and bones,
not any more. Now, look at T.T., isn’t it a bigger and fatter animal than me ?
Thinking about Thanksgiving dinner it would be the perfect choice, due to its delicious
meat.
2. I’ve never confessed my age, but it´s clear: T.T. is much younger than I am. Its body
would be a better meal.
3. The following issue is the most serious of all, this is a health issue. Recently, T.T. has been
vaccinated, nevertheless, I haven’t. On vaccination’s day, when I saw the doctor I hid with
the group of hens ( they shouted at me ‘chicken’ and I was a bit embarrassed ) Eating my
meat could be such a dangerous action and it isn’t Halloween…
4. Definitely, this point is conclusive: I normally don’t show my long feathers ( I’m quite
modest ) but it’s the plain truth: I’m not a common turkey as T.T., I’m a peacock. And
everyone knows that peacocks are a protected species * around the world. If I’d be
chosen, the authorities could fine this people.

Dear Sir / Madam
I sadly inform you, than I am not your dreams turkey, maybe you are asking
yourself why? And it is my aim explains you as better as I can.
First of all when my father left us, He was the Jameson’s Thanksgiving dinner in
2010, my mother and I were very sad. So I fell in the drug hands. I just was a teen
turkey, foolish and innocent, a young turkey that missed his father a lot. So how
in our neighbours’ yard grew up some Opium plants, I use to eat a lot.
However I was all day under drugs effect and I lost a lot of weigh, really, it looks I
am on a diet, I am just bones and skin not meat enough, and can you imagine
what bad taste I must have with all this drug through my veins? Not good at all.
Anyway I know how important the Thanksgiving Day is for Human so I willing
reward you.
You should choose another turkey. Here in my farmyard there is a turkey calling
Turkon is really the best choice, he is so enormous fowl, he loves sport and I he is
always running, jumping and so on, he is really on fit, he is so muscular, and he
looks so healthy and palatable bird.
To conclude I just want wish you a nice thanksgiving dinner with your family and

SIGHTING AT THE OLD
HOSPITAL
I have been a security guard for almost
20 years, but what I saw a few hours ago was
the scariest thing I've ever seen.I work at the
old hospital of the city centre, now it is
abandoned, but there is still medical equipment
inside that someone has to watch. I relieve my
partner at 8 in the afternoon, and another
partner relieves me at 6 in the morning. I
usually like this part of the day, it is very quiet,
although some Friday nights a couple of kids try
to get inside and prove they are tough guys.
I share this time here with a real tough
guy, George, a 5 year old German shepherd. He
can face anything, from rats to teenagers, but
tonight...
Tonight was quieter than usual, it is
Tuesday so I wasn't expecting any intrepid chap
to sneak into the building. At 9 o'clock I had to
do the first round, one every hour. An usual
round takes almost 30 minutes, this place is
huge. I took the elevator to reach the last floor
and from there we go down by the stairs. All
was quiet, dark and very cold for a regular
September, but we were calm.
10 o'clock, second round as usual.
11 o'clock, a police car parked in front
of the hospital. It was John and Carl that, when
they are on duty, come to have a cup of coffee
with George and me.
12 o'clock, witches hour, cool and
calm.
1, 2 but 3 o'clock was the time.
Before beginning our round George
was alert. I was reading while he was lying
peacefully until he begun to raise the ears to
hear something in the silence. He got up and
walked in circles a couple of times and I got
worried. It was a quarter to 3, but as he was
anxious I decided to begin the round.
I called the elevator, it opened, but
George didn't want to enter. I forced him and
after a couple of pulls he obeyed. I pushed
button to the last floor, the elevator begun to
lift but it stopped at the 4th floor. The doors
opened but there was nothing there, of course.
I pushed the button of the last floor again and
the elevator continued till the end. Doors
opened and I got out, but George didn't. He
was frightened, he trembled and whined.
Suddenly I heard to something to my right, like
laughing or whispering. I turned and
illuminated with the flashlight but there was

just stretchers, folding screens, chairs and other
hospital furniture. I turned to George to tell
him off when out of the corner of my eye I
thought I saw a human figure.
I entered the elevator and pushed the
button to the ground floor. George ran out like
hell and I followed him as well. We reached to
the security room and I called the police. John
and Carl came in just a few minutes. I told them
what had happened and we all went up. At first
nobody wanted to come out, but after some
glances Carl went out and then went John.
‐ Hello! Is there anyone here? ‐ called
Carl. He looked at me as if he was telling me
"see, nothing happens"
‐ I'm here ‐ a weak voice said.
The two policemen ran scared and got
into the elevator.
We went back down and they phoned
for help. Three other police cars came, the chief
of the unit asked me if there were drugs or
something to rob. Of course there is nothing of
value in here, the hospital has been closed for 6
years now, even the chairs are broken.
Five of the men went up by the stairs
and John, Carl, the chief and me by the
elevator. I left poor George in the security
room. The elevator opened, but we waited till
the other five men reached there. They opened
the stair door slowly so the presumed thieves
couldn't hear them. We split, some to the right
and others to the left. I went with the group
chief and told them where I had seen the
figure. I was pointing to the place when a dark,
very tall woman figure came from the corner.
We froze.
She was wearing what seemed to be a
gown, not a hospital one but something light
and sheer. She didn't look at us, she was in the
middle of the aisle staring at the wall. We were
silent just looking at her when a sound of
cheerful laugh filled the air. I looked behind me
and I saw the other group of men turning to us
and changing their faces when they saw the
woman. Their gaze of surprise turned to cold
fear, so I turned again and the figure was
growing taller and taller until there was no
more space between her and the ceiling. We all
yelled and ran stairs down.
Now, 6 in the morning, the day is
waking up, 8 all battle‐hardened men and me
are standing outside an old hospital considering
if we have seen a ghost. I don't know, but my
replacement is here and I'm not going back

THE MANGO TREE
Once upon a time there was a
beautiful little girl with red cheeks
running around a big mango tree
which was in front of a very peculiar
woodhouse.
Steadily, the sunset came with a lot of
warm colours in the horizon and the
mother of the child called her to have
dinner.
Later, when the child was going to
bed, she remembered that she had let
his favourite cuddly toy fall in the
grass near the mango tree.
Nevertheless, she waited for her mum
to give her night kisses because she
knew that if she asked her to go out
to get the cuddly toy she would have
said that they could pick it up next
morning.
Shortly after, the little girl came out of
the house and run quickly towards the
tree. However, before she reached
the tree, she realized that there was a
little boy playing with her toy. She
tried to get close to him slowly
because he had his back to her.
But, suddenly, the little boy turned his
head, stared at her and began to sing
in a low voice a song very familiar to
her. `I wish I had a mango tree in my
backyard, with you standing next to
me…´ he sang at the same time as the
little girl was shouting because the
little boy had a lot of blood and scars
in his face. Even worse, he was tearing
her cuddly toy apart with his teeth.
After that, she began to run towards
the house, got into and want into her
mother’s room crying aloud. Since her
dad had died in the war, the room

seemed bigger than it was. Cursorily,
the mother asked her what had
happened but the little girl was
frightened and she didn’t want to be
punished for going out in the middle
of the night, so she could only ask a
question. `Mummy, what was the
song you used to sing to Daniel before
he died?´ the little girl asked. And then
the mother began to sing that song. It
was a very strange situation because
since her twin brother died because of
a skin disease the girl hadn’t listened
to that song again. Her mother was
singing with tears falling down her
cheeks and then she explained to the
little child that when she got
pregnant, the little child’s father
promised her to buy a house with a
mango tree where children could play.
That’s why the little girl’s father, who
was a very good guitar player and
singer, wrote that song.
The next night, the little girl went out
of the house again and met Daniel at
the same place they had met the night
before. At first, the little boy seemed
very angry but afterwards he began to
cry and hugged his sister whispering
he had missed her so much.
They played all night long and he
made her promise to be with him
forever. The girl accepted due to the
emotion without thinking twice about
the consequences. The sunrise arrived
and she told him that they both
should go home to tell her mother
that he was alive. `You don’t
understand´ he said. `I’m not alive, I’m
dead. And so are you now, Mia´.

Chaque année, les francophones de tous les
continents célèbrent la Francophonie le 20
mars déclaré « Journée internationale de la
Francophonie ».
C’est l’occasion, pour les francophones du
monde entier, d’affirmer leur solidarité et leur
désir de vivre ensemble, en partageant une
langue commune, dans leurs différences et leur
diversité.
Tous les ans on propose dix mots français pour
réaliser des activités. Cette année a éte
consacrée à des “mots semés au loin “, c´est
à dire des mots que le français a exporté et
que l´on peut trouver dans d´autres langues.En
effet, dans un monde où toutes les langues sont
en contact les mots s´installent parfois, tels
quels, dans plusieurs langues à la fois.
C´est le cas des dix mots proposés, avec
lesquels nos élèves du département de français
ont realisé leur propres créations:

FOUDRE,ÉQUIPE,PROTÉGER,SAVOIR,FAIR
E, UNIQUE, VIS À VIS, VOILÀ.

Le bouquet de la solidarité
Voilà l´histoire d´un petit atelier dans une belle ville
près d´une rivière.
Les artisans de cet atelier composent une équipe
unique dont les participants travailent en collaborant
pour une cause juste et merveilleuse: envoyer
beaucoup de petits bouquets de fleurs à
l´intérieur d´une boîte en bois. Chaque boîte contient
aussi un petit cadeau.
Les travailleurs de cet atelier se retrouvent tous les
samedis après leurs journées de travail pour réussir cet
objetif solidaire, car tous les bouquets sont envoyés à
l´hôpital des enfants de la région. Le bouquet de
fleurs symbolise, donc, un bouquet d´amour et de
sympathie... Le savoir-faire de ces artisans se manifeste
dans la perfection et l´originalité de chaque cadeau. Il
n´y a pas un cadeau qui soit le même qu´un autre.
Ce travail est réellement récompensé par les sourires
et par les expressions de surprise et d´expectation des
enfants en ouvrant leurs boîtes, comme un coup de
foudre qui durerait toutes leurs vies.
Á Nöel, tous les participants de ce projet enverront
une lettre avec un cachet aux petits enfants pour les
inviter à une fête où ils pourront connaître en vis-à-vis
ces personnes si généreuses et solidaires.

La candide adolescence!
Cette semaine je dois écrire sur la francophonie, plus exactement je dois écrire une histoire avec les d
mots, qui ont été empruntes par d’autres langues sur se sujet.
Quand je regarde les mots, il y en a un qui attire mon attention sur tous les autres, c’est le mo
“bouquet”. Et pourquoi? Parce que je me rappelle parfaitement du bouquet de roses qu’une fille, peut
être une adolescente, tenait dans ses mains.
Nous étions dans le métro de Moscou. Ce jour-là, la guide nous a raconté qu’il y a une coutume tré
établie en Russie, qui est d’offrir des bouquets de fleurs pour n’ímporte quel événement , mais il était tré
important que le nombre de fleurs soit impair, parce que sinon, il s'agit d'un signe de mauvaise chance.
La jeune fille le protegait, elle le regardait avec un véritable enthousiasme. Je suis sûre qu’ell
n'entendait pas le groupe d’éléves bruyants que nous supportions tous. Alors, je pouvais imaginer l
coup-de foudre qu’elle avait ressenti envers la personne qui lui avait fait le cadeau. Sùrement quand i
étaient en vis-à-vis, elle s’est sentie une femmme unique. Sans aucun doute, son fiancé “ avait d
cachet”.
D’ailleurs, je peux imaginer le savoir faire de l’artisan, dans son atelier pour que le bouquet ait l
nombre exact de roses , c’est-á-dire quil soit impair.
Voilà, et pour conclure, nous devons porter un toast, comme disait Robert Redford, dans” out of Afrique

Je m’appelle Pedro et j’ai un beau-frère qui a un
magasin de fleurs.
Je vais de temps en temps dans l’établissement pour
donner un coup de main. Derrière le magasin il y a une
espèce d’atelier où mon beau-frère compose les
créations florales, quand j’y vais tous les deux faisons
une équipe pour bien faire tous les travaux qui
concernent son métier.
Mon beau-frère est célibataire, un jour du mois
dernier, une femme est entrée dans l’établissement
pour acheter un bouquet de fleurs et mon beau-frère
a eu un coup de foudre, puis il a passé toute la
journée en parlant de la femme.
Quelques jours plus tard, j’ai vu la femme qui
retournait dans le magasin et j’ai cherché une excuse
pour les laisser vis-à-vis, après une demi-heure je suis
retourné et voilà, ils ont un rendez-vous pour sortir
ensemble le samedi prochain au soir.
A mon avis, dernièrement le magasin a amélioré son
cachet grâce au bon savoir faire de mon beaufrère,
il a crée un bouquet unique pour les mariages,
celui qui tout le monde admire quand il l’expose dans

Il n’est pas un atelier courant, non,
c’est un atelier où nous pourrons
découvrir des personnes qui nous
permettrons de connaître le savoir
faire de leurs pays d’origine.
Seulement il y a une condition
toutes doivent être d’un pays
francophone.
Il s’agit, par conséquent, d’un atelier
unique où nous pourrons protéger
nos cultures.
Nous aurons aussi, l’occasion de nous
connaître et d’avoir un vis-à-vis et,
peut-être, il y aura certains qui
pourront avoir un coup de
foudre…
Nous aurons le compromis de le
développer et de rassembler une
grande équipe.
Mais le plus important sera de
commencer une bonne amitié. Et
l’avenir dira, si nous aurons la
chance d’avoir un bon cachet.

Le cachet de la solidarité
Developper la solidarité et aider les personnes en difficulté, c’est facile. Notre Société est basée sur
l’individualisme, mais il est demontré que la solidarité peut s’exprimer avec quelques petits gestes.
Nous pouvons avoir des gestes individuels ou en équipe (à travers les associations).
Parfois, avec un sourire, nous pouvons apporter le bonheur à la personne qui est triste. Comme si on lui
donnait un bouquet de fleurs.
Alors on dirait que chacun a son propre atelier de gestes. Nos gestes montrent notre savoir‐faire aux gens
qui ont besoin de notre aide.
Après de bons gestes, le sentiment qu’on aura sera unique, comme un grand coup de foudre.
Aujourd’hui devenir solidaire, c’est plus facile qu’avant. Grâce aux nouvelles technologies , on peut devenir
solidaire avec un seul “clic”, pas besoin de vis‐à‐vis).
Dans notre vie, on doit aider les autres, protéger ceux qui ont besoin de notre protection…Essayez de le
faire et Voilà, vous verrez que le resultat sera bon comme un bon cachet à vie. ESTELA MARTÍNEZ
LOGORALLYE DE LA
SOLIDARITE
Un soir d’hiver, un train dont les wagons sont
attelés par association, camaraderie, charité,
cohésion, coopération, fraternité,
interdépendance, mutualité, réciprocité,
unité...entre paisiblement dans la gare appelée
SOLIDARITÉ. Et voilà qu’on entend un siffle
musical inégalable, unique. Tout à coup la
locomotrice reconnaît son destin alors que la
gare défaille à la première apparition des
voitures. C'est une explosion saisissante. On
dirait le coup de foudre. Le train souhaite
s’arrêter. La gare considère incontournable que le
passage à niveau barre le roulement du train,
puisque l’équipe s’est finalement réunie.
Accord, concorde, entente, harmonie, égalité et
paix ont rencontré leurs vis-à-vis dans le train
après avoir attendu longtemps en cachette dans la
station. Il n’aura plus besoin de les protéger de
l’Indépendance et de l’individualisme. il faudra
cependant que la gare démontre son savoir-faire
pour entendre bien l'atelier de la pauvreté et de
l’égoïsme. Le train devra aussi rendre durable le
bouquet de l’altruisme que portent les wagons.
Ainsi, cette rencontre sera un événement qui
imprimera son cachet sur chacun des voyageurs
de ce train.
Voudriez-vous être l’un de ces voyageurs et
prendre ce train pour rester dans la gare

Marie, tes mains, tes cheveux, ta nuque. C’était
le mois de mai. Il faisait chaud, quand je t’ai
rencontrée la première fois. Dans ton atelier,
et sculptées par tes mains, les fleurs
revenaient à la vie. J’essayais de trouver un
bouquet pour une autre femme, néanmoins,
perdu dans un coup de foudre adolescent, j’ai
trouvé l’amour pur, sans condition. Je t’ai
trouvée.
Pendant le reste du printemps et l’été suivant,
nous avons construit une équipe unique dans
l’art du mensonge. Mais, tandis que pour moi,
c’était un mensonge, pour toi, c’était une autre
aventure avec laquelle augmenter ton cachet
amoureux.
Quand nous étions en vis-à-vis, les yeux dans
les yeux, je voulais uniquement me perdre
dans tes cheveux, parcourir ta nuque, oublier
ma vie réelle. Malheureusement je me suis
trompé, et j’ai commencé à refouler tes
sentiments, à étrangler ta liberté, à te
protéger, sans me rendre compte qu’il n’était
pas nécessaire de protéger une âme libre. Il
me manquait le savoir-faire d’un vrai amant.
Pendant les derniers six mois, la solitude m’a
aidé à corriger mes erreurs, et voilà, je suis
ici, devant ton atelier, comme ce jour-là de
mai, espérant une autre opportunité pour
reprendre ma vie, pour te retrouver, Marie.

MON PREMIER AMOUR
‐Je veux vous raconter l´histoire de mon premier amour.
J´ai joué dans une équipe de football très connue de Paris
quand j´avais dix‐sept ans. J´étais le meilleur gardien de
but, et je savais faire avec le ballon toutes les choses que
vous pouvez imaginer.
Un jour, je suis allé à une formation et tout à coup, je l´ai
vue. Elle était d´une beauté unique, les yeux bleus et les
cheveux rouges comme le feu. C´était un coup de foudre,
mais le problème est que l´unique chose que je savais
d´elle, c'est qu´elle travaillait dans un atelier.
Le jour suivant, je lui ai laissé un bouquet de fleurs et une
lettre d´amour avec un cachet un peu particulier, mais
sincèrement c'était le premier cachet que j´ai trouvée. Et
quand je suis sorti de l´atelier, voilà,je me la suis trouvée
en vis‐à‐vis. Elle m´a regardé dans les yeux et elle m´a
souri. Alors, j´ai decidé de courir, j´étais très nerveux.
‐Et qu´est‐ce qui s´est passé,papa?
‐Cette femme, tu l´appelles maman chérie, et je l´ai
toujours protégée, aimée et respectée comme le premier
jour.

LE PARFUM
L'année dernière, pendant
une promenade dans un
quartier typiquement
parisien, j'ai trouvé un
ATELIER artisanal où on
faisait du parfum.
Quand je suis entrée, le
BOUQUET des parfums
était magnifique. La
signature, CACHET, était
partout. J'ai eu un COUP
DE FOUDRE pour un
parfum appelé
PROTEGE, pour un
flacon UNIQUE et très
beau.
L' EQUIPE, qui
travaillait là-bas, avait un
SAVOIR-FAIRE qui
m'avait laissé stupéfaite.
J'ai eu un VIS-A-VIS avec
le patron, et VOILÀ, je
commence Lundi prochain
à travailler dans l'atelier.

Vu ma passion pour les fleurs, mon mari m´emmena, au printemps dernier, dans un petit village
où tous les champs étaient consacrés aux cultures de fleurs les plus variées. Nous promenant dans
le village, on a découvert un petit atelier formé par une équipe qui composait des bouquets de
fleurs, plus jolis les uns que les autres, de vrais artistes.
C´était un vrai plaisir de voir leurs savoir-faire, la façon dont ils prenaient soin des fleurs, les
protégeant comme si chaque fleur était unique et précieuse.
Dans un coin de l´atelier, j´aperçus un petit bouquet à l´écart des autres dont les couleurs
m´attirèrent, j´eus tout de suite un vrai coup de foudre et demandai au chef de l´atelier si je
pouvais l´acheter. Il fut surpris, le bouquet était éloigné car vis-à-vis de ses collègues le bouquet
avait un cachet particulier. Je dois avouer qu´il eut du mal à me le vendre, mais il y accéda
finalement.
Voilà pourquoi j´attends avec impatience le retour du printemps pour y retourner et qui sait peutêtre
que je retrouverai un autre bouquet unique et special. Modesta Pila

Voilà qu'un jour deux frères sont tombés
amoureux de la même femme, mais celle-ci
n'en aimait aucun. C'était un coup de
foudre pour les frères et les deux voulaient
la courtiser. Ils étaient donc en rivalité vis
à vis d'elle. Mais les deux savaient que ce
n'était pas la solution. Les frères ont
décidé que le premier qui arriverait à
courtiser la femme l'emporterait. Alors,
chacun a essayé de la courtiser à sa
manière. Le frère le plus âgé travaillait
chez un fleuriste et il avait un grand savoirfaire
avec les bouquets. Alors, il en a fait
un magnifique et il l'a donné à la femme.
L'autre frère travaillait dans un atelier de
bijoux chers. Il a beaucoup travaillé avec
son équipe parce qu'il voulait réaliser un
bel anneau unique. Finalement, la femme
n'a voulu ni le bouquet ni l'anneau, mais le
frère le plus âgé lui a écrit une lettre
romantique avec un beau cachet. Pour
terminer, ils se sont mariés, le mari lui a
promis de la protéger et ils ont eu
beaucoup d'enfants. YANIRE

ET LA NATURE
Les peintres impressionnistes
sortaient de leurs ateliers pour
représenter la Nature et son
bouquet de couleurs. Leur
savoir-faire en plein air leur a
permis de saisir la lumière
changeante des objets, des
paysages… Cette maîtrise les a
amenés d’ailleurs à augmenter
leur cachet ! De nos jours,
beaucoup de monde sent un vrai
coup de foudre en regardant
certains tableaux, dont quelquesuns
ont été faits en équipe; car
les impressionnistes ont travaillé
pendant quelques temps en
groupe, vis à vis de la Nature.
Aujourd’hui ces toiles se
trouvent dans les musées où on
peut les protéger comme des
trésors, parce qu’elles sont
uniques. Et nous voilà nous
délectant devant ces chefsd’oeuvres
!

A TOUGH CHILDHOOD

When I was a child I didn’t noticed what happened around me. I lived in a bubble,
between my parent’s love and my studies in a public school, so I didn’t pay attention to the
dealers, thieves and junkies than went around my neighborhood. My parents discussed about
the increase of insecurity, why some neighbours decided to move out and other things that, in
fact, didn’t matter to me.
Only a few years after, I realized that something bad was happening. There were a
lot of people from other places. They wore the same clothes and wasted their time in my
community park drinking and smoking all the time. They had a bad appearance and even a
strange behavior, but apparently, they did not do anything bad or strange. Blow by blow the
number of that people was increasing and so the sensation of insecurity among us.
Sometime after, I would know that those people were members of a gang. I had
never felt frightened before but little by little it was changing. I got to feel as a stranger in my
own neighbourhood, I felt intimidated so I couldn’t go to the park to play and enjoy with my
friends.
I thought that it could not get worse but I was wrong. All of this began when my
friends and I were witnesses of a crime. One day, when we were coming back home from
school we heard loud voices from the park and quick movements across it. Suddenly, we
heard a shot and a group of people were running away. We felt very frightened, but a cry
changed our behaviour. We went straight away from the voice and ran into a man who was
lying down on the lawn. He was injured; there was a lot of blood on his chest and head. We
were shocked; we had never seen something similar before. On the spur of the moment, the
guy talked in a whisper, so difficult to understand that we approached him. In that moment,
he started to talk again. He spoke about who had fired him.
We got alarmed when we saw some guys coming to us. We tried to hide from them
but it did not work, so we escaped.During the next days, I could not go to the park, I felt very
scared. The guy was dead and I had some doubts about what to do, I only was a youngster. I
hoped that that gang forgot about me.
After two weeks without going out I supposed that all had finished, I wanted to forget
it and I started to believe I had. Only some days after, when I was talking with my friends,
some of them told me that members of the gang were looking for me. It was incredible; I did
not understand how they knew me. After that, I decided to speak with my parents. I
explained what had happened that day. Obviously, my parents immediately called the
police station and described what the situation was.
That day, we were visited by policemen. I was interrogated by them and they
decided to follow me in order to catch those “bad boys”. For that, I had to go to the park and
walked across it. As assumed, gang’s members headed after me. One of them was the killer
because I saw the physical description that the dead man had told me. When they were close
to me I did the signal and suddenly those men were surrounded by policemen. I pointed to
the criminal and he was arrested.My parents were also scared with the situation so they
decided to move out to another neighbourhood.
Some days after, I saw in the media an article about it. He had a controversial trial.
At the beginning, there were not enough evidences to find him guilty. I could not declare
against him because I was too young to do it, so the police had to find the gun. If the police
did not find the gun, they could not demonstrate he was guilty. They spent some days looking
for the gun and finally they found it beneath a bush. After that, they took him to court. A
jury found the criminal guilty of the murder. He was sent to prison for a long time.
I remember that situation from time to time with curiosity but I am not feeling
frightened any more. I overcame those fears time ago. In fact, it was one of the reasons why I
decided to study law.
Nowadays, I am a lawyer and work in a firm specialised in social affairs in order to
eradicate those bad behaviours which marked my childhood.

He wants to know who killed his
father and his uncle but he dies
too, and Sherlock Holmes finds
out who killed them
I think the book is a little difficult
because there is new vocabulary
and the tenses are past. So, it’s
very interesting too because I
learned a lot of vocabulary and
phrasal verbs. I recommend it.

This book tells everything
about the life of Ali. How he
lives, his occupations, his
dreams,his adventures...He
lives in Istanbul and this book
talks about some typical
places in this city and this
boy's adventures to make his
dreams come true and finally
how he has to learn some
things to do this.I thought the
book was quite easy because
a lot of the vocabulary is
basic, the verbs are in the
present simple or continuous
- easy tenses. It was very
interesting too. I recommend
it.
Holes (by Francisco Javier
Avalos Luque, NI 2D)
is a children´s book written by
Louis Sachar. It tells the story of
Stanley Yelnats, who is under a
curse, a curse that began with his
no-good -dirty-rotten-pig-stealing
great-great-grandfather and has
since followed generations of
Yelnatses.
The story begins when Stanley is
walking down the street and a pair
of sneakers fall from the sky and
hit him on the head. The sneakers
belong to Clyde “Sweet Feet”
Livingston . Stanley is arrested
because he is blamed for stealing
them. He was in the wrong place
at the wrong time. Stanley is sent
to a boys´ detention center, Camp
Green Lake,. There he meets other
kids, whose nicknames are X-Ray,
Squid, Zig-Zag, Magnet, Armpit
and Zero, who is the best friend of
Stanley. Miss Katherine, Mr Sir
and Mr Pendanski are the guards.
In Camp Green Lake every day the
kids have to dig holes, exactly five
feet deep without to knowing
why. The mystery is because the
guards are looking for some
treasure from an ancient legend.
The guards treat them badly and
hardly ever give them water. In
Camp Green Lake it never rains
and the temperature is very high.
Finally Stanley and Zero find the
treasure, the guards are arrested
because they treat them badly and
don´t have the camp in order. The
curse is broken and curiously it
rains.
If you want to read an entertaining
book, this is your book. I
recommend it. It is a strange story
but very funny, the characters and
the story are beautifully narrated
and you will have a good time fun
reading it.

English. I think this book is good. I
liked reading this book.

Love by Design by Kieran McGovern is a love story.
This book tells the story of Tom, Rita and their dreams: Tom wants to be an artist and a photographer
but he will not go at Silverton College because he failed his exams. He needs a job. Rita wants to be a
model but she cannot afford to. She also needs a job. One day, they meet at the Tom’s work and they
fall in love but they have problems with their love: Rita’s father, Rita’s job, the police and Tom’s
jealousy. Will they get their dreams? Could they be continuing love story??
I think that this book is easy because there are words that are repeated during all the book. I
recommend it if you like love stories.

pour mieux connaître

Le livre parait être une
histoire pour les enfants,

l'oeuvre.
On doit lire ce livre pour
mieux comprendre le
point de vue d'une autre
civilisation, religion,
façon de vivre... et
pourtant c'est un livre
assez dur pour nous, les
Européens.

Batman Begins is one of the most entertaining action films I have seen. The cast is very strong
and the film features surprisingly competent performances. It stars Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne,
Kate Holmes as Rachel, Liam Neeson as Ducard, and Cillian Murphy in the role of cruel villain Doctor
Jonathan.The film starts with Bruce´s memories of his childhood. He had a good relationship with his
parents, especially with his father. Unfortunately one day his parents are killed by a robber. Since
then Bruce has been abroad alone looking for fights with other men to blow off steam. Finally he
decides to come back home and take care of Gothan, the city that his father had built, because
corruption has taken over there.
As for the visual elements, the special effects are stunning, with Batman flying in the sky or climbing
buildings.
I would recommend this film to anyone who likes action films and comics, because I’m sure it will not

"Up ", winner of among others two different accolades Acacemy, is an American computer-animation,
comedy- adventure created and released in 2009.
The film is set in the USA, where a couple lives in a nice house which ends up surrounded by new high
buildings.They are told that they are infertile and both decide to realize the dream of their lives visiting a nice
falls in Venezuela. However the woman dies. The widower manages to make his house take off like a zepellin,
helped by several thousands of toy balloons that he used to sell to children. In the journey he is accompanied
by a sweet Boy Scout who wants to have his last badge.
It is a superbly acted and beautifully filmed by computer animation with brilliant scenes, where you can see
the life of a couple and an adventure with a naive Boy Scout.
To sum up it is a highly entertaining film that is well worth seeing.

fiktive Julia senden und ihr Liebesleid
klagen. Sophie ist eine junge
amerikanische Touristin. Sie findet einen
seit 50 Jahren unentdeckten Brief aus
England, den sie beantwortet.
Claire ist die Frau, die den Brief
geschrieben hat. Sie ist 70 Jahre alt, aber
sie hat ihre groβe Liebe, Lorenzo
Bartolini, nicht vergessen. Claire kommt
mit ihrem Enkel, Charli,in die Toskana,
ihren Lorenzo ausfindig zu machen.
Die Geschichte ist interessant. Die
Schauspieler sind gut. Der Film ist toll!

Alex Mutter ist eine überzeugte Sozialistin
in der alten DDR. Sie wacht nach 8
Monaten aus dem Koma auf. Es ist
Oktober 1989, die Mauer ist gefallen. Sie
ist im Bett, ihr Herz ist schwach und Alex
wagt nicht, ihr zu sagen, dass die Mauer
gefallen ist und der Kapitalismus auch
hierher gekommen ist.
Alex verwandelt das Haus in eine
Sozialistische Insel, ein Museum, um
seiner Mutter die Wahrheit zu verschleien.

„Fluch der Karibik“
Ich denke, dass der Film „Fluch der
Karibik“ (Originaltitel: „Pirates of the
Caribbean“) der beste Film ist.
Er ist ein origineller Actionfilm. Es geht
um Piraten und einen Fluch. Die
Geschichte ist geheimnisvoll und
interessant, aber sie ist auch sehr lustig.
Der Tonstreifen ist echt toll. Ich habe die
Musik in meinem Handy.
Johnny Deep ist der Hauptdarsteller. Er
ist so lustig im Film und ein so guter
Schauspieler!. Die anderen Schauspieler
sind auch gut, aber Jonny Deep ist der
beste.
Der Film ist super !! Ich empfehle ihn dir.
Ich habe den Film schon über fünfzig Mal
gesehen.

Mein Lieblingsfilm ist „Dirty Dancing 2“
(Originaltitel: „Dirty Dancing 2 – Havana
Nights“). Ich finde den Film super.
Mitte der fünfziger Jahre sind Kate Miller
und ihre Familie aus den USA nach Kuba
gezogen. Sie ziehen um, weil der Vater
dort arbeiten muss. Kate lernt Javier
kennen. Er ist Kellner im Hotel, in dem
Kate und ihre Familie leben.
Kate und Javier, die Haupdarsteller,
wollen an einem Tanzwettbewerb
teilnehmen und sie üben sehr hart zu
gewinnen. Sie verlieben sich.
Ich finde den Film super. Diese Romanze
ist lustig und schön, aber das Ende hat
mir am wenigsten gefallen, weil es sehr

„Das Leben ist schön“
(Originaltitel: „La vita è bella“) ist ein Film
von Roberto Benigni aus dem Jahr 1997.
Guido (Roberto Benigni) ist ein
glücklicher, humorvoller junger Mann
jüdischer Herkunft. Er arbeitet als Kellner
im Restaurant seines Onkels. In der
Kleinstadt lernt er Dora kennen und
verliebt sich in sie. Er tut alles Mögliche,
um sie zu erobern.
Guido und Dora heiraten und haben ein
Kind, Giosuè. Guido hat eine Buchhandlung
und Dora arbeitet weiter als Lehrerin.
Guido, sein Onkel und das Kind werden
verhaftet und zu einem
Konzentrationslager deportiert. Guido
versteckt seinen Sohn und verschweigt
ihm, was im Lager geschieht. Er erzählt
ihm, dass alles ein Spiel ist, und wenn sie
sich an die Regel halten, bekommen sie
am Ende als Preis einen Panzer.
Bei Kriegsende wird das Lager von den
deutschen Soldaten verlassen. Guido
versteckt das Kind und versucht Dora zu
finden. Er wird aber erwischt und
erschossen. Giosuè wird am nächsten Tag
von einem amerikanischen Panzerfahrer
gefunden und mitgenommen. Giosuè findet
seine Mutter und sagt: „Wir haben
gewonnen“
Der Film endet mit der Stimme von Giosuè
als erwachsener Mann. Er sagt: Dies ist
meine Geschichte, dies ist das Opfer,
welches mein Vater erbracht hat, dies
war sein Geschenk an mich. Wir haben
das Spiel gewonnen."
Der Film ist sehr gut und sehr spannend.
Manche Szenen sind lustig, andere sehr
traurig. Der Film hat mir sehr gut
gefallen, wirklich empfehlenswert!

„Sophie Scholl“ ist ein
deutscher Film aus dem Jahr 2005. Der
Regisseur ist Marc Rothemund.
Der Film spielt im Jahr 1943 in München.
Eine Gruppe von Studenten trauen sich,
dem Naziregim Widerstand zu leisten. Sie
gründen die Widerstandsgruppe „die
wei e Rose“. Sie drucken und verteilen
Flugblätter gegen Natinalsozialismus an
der Universität. Sophie und ihr Bruder
wurden festgenommen und vernommen
von der Gestapo und zum Tode verurteilt.

Amadeus (1984)
Es ist ein Drama über das Leben von
Wolfang Amadeus Mozart. Es ist aus der
Sicht des Komponisten Salieri. Ich finde
den Film ein ausgezeichnetes Werk mit
guten schauspielerischen Leistungen. Also
bin ich der Meinung , dass es sich wirklich
lohnt ihn zu sehen. 1985 bekam
„Amadeus“ den Oscar. ¿?
Am Ende seines Lebens wird Salieri von
einem Priester besucht. Salieri erzählt
ihm von seiner eigenen Jugend und
vergleicht sie immer mit dem
erfolgreichen Mozart. Er erzählt auch
seinen eigenen Traum, ein großer Musiker
zu werden, und erzählt auch von seinem
Vater. Bei einem Konzert, das Mozart
dirigiert, erkennt Salieri das Talent von
Mozart. Deshalb wächst eine gro e
Eifersucht.
Kurz: es ist ein sehr unterhaltsamer
historischer Film über das Leben dieses
großen Komponisten. Ich empfehle euch
allen den Film.

„Die fetten Jahre sind
vorbei“
Wir haben den Film „Die fetten Jahre sind
vorbei“ gesehen. Wir haben ihn in der
Originalsprache mit spanischen
Untertiteln gesehen.
Ich finde den Film gut. Der Film spielt in
Deutschland und es geht um drei junge
Freunde: Jan, Peter und Jule. Sie haben
Probleme in der Liebe, in der Arbeit und
engagieren sich aktiv gegen das System.
Die Geschichte ist spannend und
interessant. Die Schauspieler sind sehr
gut. Der Film hat mir sehr gut gefallen!.

„Life of Pi – Schiffbruch
mit Tiger“ ist wirklich
unterhaltsam. Er erzählt eine grausame
Realität, als ob es eine Erzählung wäre.
Manche Szenen hat man im Meer gefilmt.
Sie sind wunderschön. Der
Hauptdarsteller ist sehr sympathisch und
die Geschichte ist sehr interessant.
Der Film hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Ihr
müsst den Film sehen! Ich glaube, dass er
der beste Film des Jahres ist.

Liebesgeschichte, die über die harten
Theme wie Tod geht.
Obwohl das Cover bukolisch aussieht,
wenn man den Film riechen könnte, wäre
er ekelrregend. Man braucht einen
starken Magen!
Bereitet euch darauf vor zu trauern,
obwohl manche bestimmt Momente des
schwarzen Humor identifizieren könnten.
Der Film zeigt uns die Zerbrechlichkeit
des menschlichen Wesens und die Stärke
des Gefühls. Diese Geschichte bringt uns
dazu, über das problematische Thema der
Euthanasie nachzudenken.
Das Bild von den Schweinen auf dem
Bauernhof erinnerte mich an das Buch
`Wilbur und seine Freunde´. In beiden
wird die Härte des Lebens und des Todes,
der Freundschaft und die Liebe zum Leben
gezeigt. Aber natürlich ist diese Gesichte
für Kinder und “Emmas Glück“ ist ein Film
für Erwachsene.

Ich habe den Film „Fin“ gesehen. Ich finde
den Film super. Er spielt in Spanien und ist
ein Actionfilm. Er ist überhaupt nicht
realistisch, aber die Handlung ist sehr
interessant und spannend. Der Film hat
mir gut gefallen. Wirklich empfehlenswert!
Ich war positiv überrascht.

Der Film ist eine unterhaltsame Kömodie
von Fath Akin. Er handelt von Daniel, ein
Lehrer, der kein Respekt von seinen
Schülern hat und der in die schöne Melek
verliebt ist. Sie haben sich auf einer Party
gesehen. Aber Juli, eine
Schmuckverkäuferin, hat sich in ihn
verliebt. Daniel folgt Melek durch
Südosteuropa und Juli fährt mit ihm. Sie
machen eine weite Reise, von Hamburg
nach Instanbul in der Türkei. Beide
machen verschiedene Erfahrungen in
dieser Reise. Aber am Ende der Reise
verliebt sich Daniel in Juli.
Die Schauspieler Moritz Beibtreu (Daniel),
der 2001 den Deutschen Filmpreis als
bester Schauspieler erhielt, Christiane
Paul als Juli und Idil Ülner als Melek
machen den Film interesant, sympathisch
und humorvoll.
Der Regisseur Fatih Akin bekam mit
diesem Film verschiedene Preise in
Europäischen Filmfestivals.

ist eine amerikanische Horror-
Fernsehserie. Die Serie ist von Ryan
Murphy und Brad Falchuk. Sie hat zwei
Staffeln, aber ich habe nur die erste
gesehen. Eine amerikanische Familie, die
Familie Harmano, bezieht in Los Angeles
ein altes Haus. Im Haus aber leben die
Geister von seinen alten Bewohnern.
Ich finde die Serie ganz gut. Die Handlung
ist ein bisschen typisch, aber spannend.
Das Ende hat mir am wenigsten gefallen.
Meine Lieblingsschauspielerin ist Taissa
Farmiga, die die Rolle der Tochter spielt.
Die Angst- Liebenden müssen diese Serie

Aimée und Jaguar (Max
Färberböck) (Deutschland, 1999)
ist der wichtigste Film vom Regisseur Max
Färberböck. Es ist eine Bearbeitung vom
gleichnamigen Buch vom Erica Fischer.
Der Film war nominiert als „Bester
fremdsprachiger Film” in den Golden
Globes. Außerdem hat er verschiedene
Preise gewonnen, wie den Deutschen
Filmpreis oder den Bayerischen Filmpreis.
Seine zwei Hauptdarstellerinnen sind auch
ausgezeichnet worden für ihre
wunderbaren Interpretationen als Lilly
Wust und Felice Schragenheim. Sie haben
auf der Berlinale den Silbernen Bär als
beste Darstellerinnen gewonnen.
Der Film verläuft in Berlin während des
Zweiten Weltkrieges. Er erzählt eine
Liebesgeschichte zwischen zwei Frauen,
Lilly und Felice. Lilly ist die Frau eines
Offiziers von der NAZI-Armee und Felice
ist eine Jüdin, die bei einer Nazi Zeitung
arbeitet. Lilly entscheidet sich von ihrem
Mann zu trennen, und ein neues Leben mit
Felice und ihren Kinder anzufangen. Aber
als sie sehr glücklich zusammen waren,
kommen die Nazis in ihr Haus, und sie
nehmen Felice mit…
Aimée und Jaguar ist ein verschiedener
Ausblick des Zweiten Weltkriegs, den
vorher niemand uns erzählt hat. In vielen
Filmen geht es um den Holocaust an den
Juden und dem Horror des Krieges, aber
es ist vielleicht der erste Film, der die
Liebesgeschichte zwischen zwei Frauen
während des Krieges zeigt. Der Film ist
spannend, schön und gleichzeitig traurig,
und noch mehr am Ende, wenn man
erfährt, dass es eine faktische Geschichte
ist, und Lilly Wurst noch lebte, als der Film

„Die Fetten Jahre sind
vobei“ ist ein sehr origineller Film
von dem Regisseur Hans Weingartner. Er
handelt von zwei Jungen, die gegen die
etablierte Ordnung und gegen den
Kapitalismus ringen. Jan (Daniel Brühl)
und Peter (Stipe Erceg) brechen in die
Häuser der Reichen ein und stehlen nicht,
sondern räumen die Möbel um. Danach
lassen sie einen Zettel mit der Botschaft
„Die fetten Jahre sind vorbei“. Alles wird
komplizierter, als die Freundin von Peter,
Jule (Julia Jentsch), mit Jan in ein Haus
einbricht. Der Besitzer entdeckt sie und
sie entführen ihn. Aber das ist nicht das
einzige Problem, weil Jan sich in Jule
verliebt.
Dieser Film bringt die Zuschauer dazu, an
ihren Lebensstil zu denken und zu
bemerken, dass es andere Sachen, die
wichtiger als Geld sind, gibt.
Ich empfehle euch diesen Film. Er wird
euch nicht enttäuschen!

Bella Martha
Der Film “Bella Martha” ist eine
romantische sehenswerte Komödie. Die
Hauptdarstellerin ist Martha (Martina
Gedeck). Sie ist eine renommierte
Küchenchefin, die nur an ihre Arbeit
denkt. Sie hat kaum Freunde, weil sie
keine Zeit für sie hat, sie richtet sich nur
auf die Qualität von ihrer Küche. Sie ist
ziemlich egoistisch und sehr obsessiv,
weil sie die beste Köchin werden möchte.
Alles ändert sich als ihre Schwester stirbt
und Martha sich um ihre Nichte kümmern
muss, für sie wird es sehr schwierig,
denn sie hatte nie auf jemanden
aufgepasst. In der Arbeit stellt ihr
Vorgesetzter einen neuen Koch ein und
sie muss ihre Küche mit ihm teilen. Ihre
Welt ändert sich völlig und sie muss es
übernehmen. Am Ende verliebt Martha
sich in ihren Arbeitskollegen und die
Beziehung zwischen ihr und ihrer Nichte
wird immer besser. Martha merkt was
wichtig in ihrem Leben ist und sie ändert
ihre Prioritäten.
Die Hauptdarstellerin, Martina Gedeck hat
viele Preise mit diesem Film gewonnen,
zum Beispiel den des Verbands der
deutschen Filmkritik. Die Regisseurin und
die Drehbuchautorin ist Sandra
Nettelbeck, die sehr bekannt in
Deutschland ist. Sie hat viele Filme
produziert und hat viele Preise gewonnen
aber den grö ten Erfolg hatte sie mit
diesem Film, Bella Martha.
In meiner Meinung ist der Film
bemerkenswert und sehr unterhaltsam.

EL LADO BUENO DE LAS COSAS
Un film que j'ai vu il y a trois mois plus ou moins est "El lado bueno de las cosas". C'est
le nom en espagnol parce que je ne sais pas comme il a été traduit en français. C'est un
nouveau film que j'ai beaucoup aimé.
Le film raconte l'histoire de Pat, un jeune homme qui est sorti du psychiatrique après
découvrir qu'il est bipolaire. Il a une famille très particulière et il connait Tiffany, une
jeune femme qui est perturbée pour la mort de son mari.
Le film est une comedie romantique, mais ce n'est pas typique. Il a reçu de critiques
très bonnes. C'est un film qui a des situations et des dialogues très bizarres, mais qui
font rire. À mon avis, l'histoire est très bien faite, mais je crois que les acteurs sont la
meilleure partie.
Dans les derniers "Oscars", le quatre acteurs principaux ont été nominés dans quatre
categories differents et le film a été nominé dans la categorie du meilleur film. À la fin,
il a gagné un seul prix: Meilleure actrice et il a été bien merité. Jennifer Lawrence, qui
joue le rol de Tiffany, est magnifique. Elle a un futur extraordinaire. Marina Barroso

ODETTE TOULEMONDE
Un film de production française et belge, et dirigé par l´ecrivain Eric-Schmitt. C´est une
comédie romantique dont le thème principal traite de la possibilité que tout le monde a
d´obtenir son propre bonheur.
C´est l´exemple du personnage principal, Odette Toulemonde. Une femme d´âge mur qui
travaille comme vendeuse dans une grande surface, qui habite dans un humble appartement
avec ses deux enfants qui ne se sont pas encore emancipés.
Dans un prémier moment, le spectateur peut croire que cette femme n´a pas de problème et
qu´elle a été heureuse toute sa vie, mais quand on la connait mieux, on peut découvrir que
derrière son sourire il y a une triste històire. C´est une femme qui a perdu son mari ça fait
longtemps et elle a élevé ses enfants toute seule. Odette etait très amoureuse de lui et le jour
où il est mort, elle a pensé que sa vie n´avait pas de sens.
Grâce aux romans d´un ecrivain célèbre dans ce moment, Balthazar Balsan, elle se remet de sa
dèpression. Ensuite, après un changement brusque du destin, Odette sera celle qui aidera à le
surmonter.
En somme, à mon avis, ce film ne parle pas seulement sur comment obtenir le Bonheur, on
peut voir d´autres problemes comme: le chômage juvenile, l´influence des medias dans notre
vie, les travaux médiocres…etc.
En conclusion, c´est une comédie drôle qui fait reflechir sur des thémes quotidiens et la fin du
film a été très émouvante. Le film m´a beaucoup fait reflechir sur ce qu´est vraiment
important, c´est-a-dire, chacun doit chercher où se trouve son proper Bonheur sans se laisser

La Môme Pour ceux qui ne connaissent la chanteuse Edith Piaf
que pour avoir écouté quelques-unes de ses chansons (La vie en
rose, Je ne regrette rien…), ce film leur fera découvrir une vie
vraiment passionnante cachée derrière ce personnage. Mais, avant
de voir le film, il faut se préparer pour affronter des scènes un peu
fortes.En effet, Edith Gasson (son vrai nom), était une femme à
caractère très fort dans un corps extrêmement fragile. Interprétée
para Marion Cotillard (premier Oscar à la meilleure actrice jouant
son rôle en langue française), Edith Piaf commence sa vie dans la
souffrance et la pauvreté. C’est sa voix d’or qui permettra à cette
fille maladroite de sortir des rues de Paris d’après-guerre pour non
seulement atteindre les sommets de la chanson internationale mais
aussi pour connaître la plus belle histoire d’amour avec Marcel
Cerdan.La scène du film la plus touchante est, justement, celle où
Edith Piaf reçoit la nouvelle de la mort de son amoureux. Un moment
déchirant, interprété de manière sublime par Marion Cotillard. Ce
drame ne va pas empêcher Edith Piaf de se relever après quelques
problèmes d’argent et de santé.Formidable, émouvant, étonnant,
passionnant, fascinant… Un film incontournable.
Cyrano de Bergerac
Qui ne connaît pas l’histoire du
bretteur et poète Gascon ? Habile
de son épée et, particulièrement,
de ses mots, sa laideur ne lui
permet pas de conquérir l’amour
de sa cousine Roxane. Cette‐ci
tombe à son tour amoureuse d’un
mousquetaire sans éloquence
auquel Cyrano va prêter ses vers.
Dans un film qui se déroule dans
une ambiance plutôt sombre, ce
sont les flamboyants vers que
Gérard Depardieu (Cyrano)
déclame qui vont éclairer les
scènes. En particulier, la scène
finale dans laquelle Roxane
découvre à travers la déclamation
d’un Cyrano moribond que c’était
lui dont elle était amoureuse en
fait, que c’était lui qui écrivait les
vers pour son mousquetaire mort il
y avait longtemps.
Pour ceux qui aiment la langue
française, on peut reconnaître ici
non seulement une histoire très
bien racontée, mais aussi un
hommage à cette belle langue
latine. Un vrai délice pour nos
oreilles.
C’est pourquoi vous, amoureux du
français, vous ne pouvez pas vous
passer de voir ce grand film.
Effroyables Jardins
Film adapté du roman de Michel
Quint qui raconte l’histoire d’un
petit garçon de 14 ans qui a honte
de son père, instituteur qui fait des
numéros de clown. Ce sera André,
un ami de son père, qui lui
expliquera la raison de cette
vocation.
Ce fut pendant l’occupation
allemande en France que Jacques
(le père) et André devinrent otages
avec deux autres compagnons. Ils
sont jetés dans un puits où ils
souffriront de la faim et du froid.
Bernd, un soldat allemand qui avait
travaillé comme clown à Paris
pendant des années, les aidera à
surpasser ce moment grâce à ses
clowneries. Après avoir écouté
l’histoire complète, le petit garçon
n’a plus honte de son père. Au
contraire, il commence à s’amuser
avec ses clowneries.
Une histoire qui met en relief des
valeurs telles que le courage et la
camaraderie, mais aussi l’humanité,
la compassion, l’humour et la
générosité. Un film émouvant que
vous ne regretterez pas de voir.

N’ayant pas suivi de cours de
français pendant deux ans, mes
oreilles étaient un peu rouillées
pour comprendre la langue de
Molière. C’est pourquoi j’ai décidé
d’emprunter des films de notre
bibliothèque. Comme je m’y
attendais, j’ai dû voir chaque film
deux fois au moins, voire lire les
sous-titres, pour commencer à
comprendre quelque chose. Mais
cela a valu la peine, car j’ai pris
beaucoup de plaisir à regarder ces
films extraordinaires, même si je
n’ai pas saisi tous les détails. Voici
mes impressions, qui ne
correspondent pas à celles d’un
critique professionnel, mais
seulement à celles d’un humble

Huit femmes
Dans les années 50 Gaby (Catherine
Deneuve), la femme d’un homme
très riche, réunit toute sa famille
dans la grande maison qu’ils ont à
la campagne pour fêter Noël.
Après l’arrivée de Suzon, la fille
aînée, on découvre que son père a
été assassiné. Il y a seulement huit
femmes dans la maison et le
coupable se trouve donc entre
elles. Toutes soupçonnent les
autres de l’avoir tué et
commencent à s’interroger entre
elles. Mais ce qu’on découvre alors,
ce sont les obscurs secrets que
chacune d’elles cachaient aux
autres.
Les scènes nous rappellent les
romans policiers d’Agatha Christie,
tout cela égayé par des chansons
dont la plus brillante est celle
d’Augustine (la sœur de Gaby,
interprétée par Isabelle Huppert).
Un film jouissif, mais difficile à
avaler pour les femmes
extrêmement féministes : il met en
relief les clichés sur le caractère
malin des femmes comme
l’hypocrisie, le mensonge, la
jalousie, etc. Des clichés
difficilement acceptables pour la
société actuelle en général.
La “Fondation Mapfre” nous a offert une des meilleures expositions qu’on a pu visiter à
Madrid à la fin de 2012. Cette présentation publique de Jean Paul Gaultier s’est appelée
« L’univers de la mode » de la rue aux étoiles.
Jean Paul Gaultier est un grand couturier qui est née dans la banlieue parisienne en 1952, dans
une famille modeste sans aucune relation avec le monde de la mode. Dans son adolescence, il
a commencé à créer par plaisir deux collections par an en s’inspirant des magazines de mode
que sa grand‐mère lui donnait et des grands couturiers. Il envoyait ses dessins à tous les
grands couturiers et à dix‐huit ans, il a été embauché par Pierre Cardin comme assistant. À
partir de ce jour, il a construit sa propre carrière en créant sa propre maison, ses propres
collections de vêtements, de meubles, de parfums etc. Maintenant, c’est un empire.
L’exposition était composée de 110 modèles de la haute couture et prêt‐à‐porter, 50 toiles et
des pièces audiovisuelles, des extraits de défilés de mode, des dessins et des photographies.
En somme, c’est le témoignage de ses projets risqués et innovants dans le monde de la mode
qui ont marqués la carrière de Jean Paul Gaultier.
De plus, le visiteur a pu voir des créations inédites ainsi que des costumes
cinématographiques, par exemple quelques costumes des films de Pedro Almodovar et les
robes‐corsets que Madonna a portées pendant ses concerts. Les robes‐corsets sont devenues
l’emblème de la marque. Il s’est inspiré des corsets de sa grand‐mère pour créer sa collection
de corsets qui a eu un grand succès parmi le grand public et les gens célèbres. Sa grand‐mère a
eu une grande influence sur lui. C’est une personne très importante pour son évolution. Par
ailleurs, une pièce étrange qu’on peut voir à l’exposition est l’ourson avec des seins coniques
que Gaultier a créé quand il avait douze ans. Une autre création qui est aussi un insigne de sa
maison est la jupe longue créée pour l’homme.
Il a réalisé aussi les costumes pour des pièces de théâtre et pour des chorégraphies de danse.
L’artiste a eu toujours une bonne et étroite relation avec le monde du cinéma, de la mode, de
la musique, de la danse et du spectacle.
On appelle Jean Paul Gaultier « l’enfant terrible » de la mode, car il est doué pour mêler la
haute couture au prêt‐à‐porter dans ses créations. Il s’inspire pour ses créations de la rue
parce que son objectif est de montrer sur le podium des créations « qui se portent, qui se
vivent et qui se regardent » selon lui. Pour réussir à créer cette mode si originale, il s’est
inspiré de motifs peu communs et surprenants comme les vierges et les madones, le punk, la
marine, le cabaret, le sadomasochisme, la science‐fiction, l’Univers, Paris la capitale, les
autres cultures, la musique New Wave et House. Il a enregistré un single quand il a découvert
cette musique qu’il a commencée à aimer.
Un autre aspect qui distingue Jean Paul Gaultier d’autres couturiers sont ses mannequins. Il
n’aime pas les mannequins habituels de taille 34‐36. Il ouvre la porte à des mannequins avec la
taille XXL. Il cherche ses mannequins à travers une annonce qui dit : « Créateur différent
cherche des mannequins atypiques, des visages bizarres ne pas se priver ». Pour le couturier,
c’est important de se sentir soi‐même avec ses costumes.
De surcroît, c’est intéressant de voir comment il mélange les couleurs et les matériels comme
aucun couturier, par exemple un pull marin en tricot et une jupe de plumes, des ornements de
vierges placés sur les têtes de mannequins, une robe‐corset de cuir avec une jupe de tulle, un
trench imprimée avec une pellicule de cinéma, une robe faite entièrement d’éventails, une
robe faite de bises etc.
Pour conclure selon moi, l’exposition a été une grande réussite. Jean Paul Gaultier est un génie
avec une créativité unique et personnelle, marque de sa maison. Il n y a pas un créateur qui
gagne Gaultier en originalité. Bref, cela a été vraiment un luxe de pouvoir voir une partie des
collections d’un grand couturier comme lui avec force détails à Madrid.

L’ E.O.I. visite
le Musée Thyssen
Gauguin et
le voyage vers l’exotisme
Le 14 décembre dernier, nous avons fait une visite au Musée Thyssen Bornemisza, à Madrid.
Il s’agissait de profiter des oeuvres de Gauguin et d’autres peintres dont le point commun était
l’éxotisme et le voyage.
Les tableaux nous parlaient de l’aventure de Gauguin dans les îles; de la rencontre de l’artiste avec
l’exotisme, la partie la plus primitive de l’homme.
On a pu noter l’influence que des peintres comme Delacroix ont eu sur Gauguin, et comment
l’idée du voyage –dans le sens de recherche de l’origine‐ continua jusque dans les oeuvres de
Rousseau, de Paul Klee ou de Kandinsky.
De la main de Gauguin, on a fait le voyage vers les origines de l’humanité, là oú on les trouve dans
toute leur pureté. En regardant “Mata Mua”, on pouvait contempler le déroulement de la vie au
Paradis, toujours ailleurs. Quelle naïveté chez les Adam et Eve des îles!
Lors de cette visite, on a mieux compris comment l’idée d’authencité, reliée à celle de l’exotisme,
commence avec Delacroix, se développe avec Gauguin et continue presque jusqu’à nos jours à
travers les oeuvres de Kandinsky, de Paul Klee ou même de Picasso.
En somme, le 14 décembre dernier, nous avons partagé le Paradis avec les Maîtres.

Semaine après semaine, Marianne - c´est le
prénom de cette femme- recevait une lettre de son
mari, Pierre, lui racontaIt les nouvelles sur les
champs de bataille. Il lui envoyait tout son amour.
Mais une semaine, elle n´a pas reçu la lettre
attendue.
Désormais, Marianne allait chaque jour au
departament d´Etat qui s´occupe des sujets de
guerre pour s´informer du déroulement des
événements. Grâce à leurs informations, elle savait
que, pour le moment, son mari n´était pas apparu
sur la liste des personnes disparues. Cependant
Marianne était très inquiète parce qu`il n`y avait
aucune trace de lui. Dans son lit, elle se demandait
de plus en plus ce qui s´était passé.

UNE CHAMBRE À NEW YORK
Nous observons un couple américain qui est dans
son salon après de dîner. C´est un couple qui ne
parle pas entre eux, alors ils n´ont pas de
communication. C´est la raison pour laquelle ils
sont en train de faire des choses différentes:
l`homme lit le journal tandis que la femme joue
du piano.
Ils sont très fatigués car ils ont travaillé beaucoup
pendant la journée. La femme est une pianiste
débutante et l´homme est un homme d' affaires.
La femme semble s'ennuyer et sans soucis, mais
elle a une chose dans la tête qui l' inquiète. Elle
n´essaye pas de partager sa préoccupation avec
son mari et il ne perçoit pas l´inquiétude de sa
femme parce qu'il est dans son propre monde.
Soudain le téléphone sonne et les deux sont
nerveux. Mais ils le cachent bien car il y n`a aucun
regard entre eux. Finalement, c'est la femme qui
se lève pour répondre.
C’est une personne que la femme connait car elle
parle sur un ton familier. Elle est surprise et

bateau part demain. Tout est prêt pour un long
voyage. Il ne l'empêche pas de partir, même si
l'espoir de réussir à devenir un artiste était
presque perdu. Elle emportera le strict nécessaire.

NOCTAMBULES
C’était une nuit d'été très chaude. Je ne pouvais pas dormir et je commençais à
devenir nerveux à cause de la chaleur. Après une heure à essayer de trouver le
calme, j’ai éteint le ventilateur et je suis parti. Je marchais dans la solitude et le noir
de la nuit. Il n’y avait personne ni aucun bruit dans le quartier. Seule la lumière du
bar du coin donnait un peu de vie à l’obscurité de la nuit. J’étais seul et je n’avais
pas de destination fixe, alors j’ai décidé de prendre un verre.
L´atmosphère était calme et détendu et la musique était comme dans les années
vingt. C´était juste ce dont j´avais besoin à ce moment‐là. J´ai commencé à me
détendre et à profiter de l´ambiance agréable. C´était une excellente idée.
Tout à coup, une personne aux cheveux longs et blonds s´est assise à côté de moi.
Je n´avais jamais vu une femme aussi belle qu'elle. Elle avait les lèvres rouges
comme la rose, et les yeux bleus comme la tranquilité de la mer. Quand elle était
près de moi, je me sentais relaxé. C´était une sensation inouïe et unique.
En résumé, l'auteur, sur ce tableau a représenté une soirée où les rues sont
éclairées par la lumière du bar. Surtout ce tableau nous raconte l'histoire de
personnes seules, qui préfèrent aller boire un verre plutôt que rester seules chez
elles. Hopper nous montre la solitude. C'est très intéressant aussi la lumière et
l'obscurité qui attirent notre regard sur des détails de l'oeuvre. C'est le tableau de
Hopper le plus célèbre. Il fait partie de la collection de l'art Institute of Chicago. (NI1)

Last December the English Department organized an outing to the theatre at Alcazar
Theatre in Madrid. Although it was finally arranged for December 1 st and so on a
Saturday, many of our students joined in and 87 of them finally came, together with
six teachers. The play on stage was A Christmas Carol, a hilarious adaptation of
Charles Dickens’s famous story that depicts Ebenezer Scrooge's ordeal with the visit
of three ghosts that finally push him into becoming a better person. It was yet
another production in The Madrid Players season. The Madrid Players is an amateur
English-language theatre group based in Madrid and founded more than forty-five
years ago. On this occasion they paved the way to Christmas time with this play,
really typical of the season but spiced up with their characteristic humorous touch. A
Christmas Carol is a play for all ages and for many different English levels, a
production so cleverly arranged that caters for so many different needs and
expectations. A real success we all enjoyed and are looking forward to repeating

Desde CARITAS estamos en
contacto con otras instituciones
ya sean de la Administración
Pública, como Servicios Sociales
o con otras ONG como CRUZ
ROJA y algunas más, para que
con el trabajo de todos, evitar en
la medida de lo posible, dejar sin
ayuda a todos los que llegan y
con ello evitamos también que
caigan en la marginación y la
exclusión social.
En el año 2011 CARITAS, prestó
ayuda a 1031 personas, en el
2012 fueron 1207 y en lo que va
de año podemos comprobar que
cada semana aumenta el
número de familias nueva que se
acercan a pedir ayuda.
Las ayudas que ofrece CARITAS
es en forma de: alimentos, ropa,
gastos de farmacia, pago de
recibos atrasados de luz, alquiler
de vivienda, etc.
CARITAS no entrega el dinero
directamente a las personas,
nosotros les acompañamos en
todas las gestiones y realizamos
los pagos por ellos.
En estos momentos tan críticos,
observamos que la respuesta
ciudadana en cuanto a la
colaboración con sus
aportaciones, sigue siendo muy
positiva, lo cual agradecemos
enormemente, así como a la
Escuela Oficial de Idiomas de
Torrejón de Ardoz, que viene
colaborando con nuestro centro
desde el año 2011 y que las
pasadas Navidades aportó 459
Kg. de alimentos.
Gracias a todas las personas y
entidades que colaboran y
animamos a todos a seguir
haciéndolo, cada cual en su
medida, toda la ayuda siempre
es bien recibida.

CORREDOR HENARES
THANKS PEDRO EMIRO ORTIZ, FOR ALL THE DISHES YOU
PREPARED… AND THANKS FOR THIS RECIPE!
FRESCH COD WITH CREAMY POTATO AND BLACK OLIVE OIL.
Ingredients:
Cod fresh: 200 grms; Olives Black: 50 grms; Fresh Clams: 60 grms,
Peeled Potato: 100 grms, Olive Oil: 20 grms, Truffle Oil: 20 grms,
Sea Salt: 0.50 grms, White Pepper: 0.20 grms
Cut the cod in portions of 200 grms and set aside. Dry de olives in the
oven at 150ºC for 30 minutes, Blend and add virgin olive oil. Cook
the potatoes with a little olive oil and salt, Grind in thermomix and
whip with white truffle oil. Open the clams in a little olive oil. Lightly
grill the cod and place in the oven at 180ºC for 10 minutes. Place the
potato cream as a base on the dish with the cod on top and clams
around the plate. Garnish with black olives and chopped chive.

The moment I start to see Christmas decoration in every
single shop and streets and colorful lights on peoples’
balconies in early November, far from make me feel as
if the magic ignites my bones and bring me happiness, I
feel terribly angry. All that pantomime is only a plan
perfectly thought by big companies to persuade week
people to buy things, to spend money without sense in
expensive meals and gifs and they introduce in ours
mind the malicious idea that all of that would make us
feel happier and if we don’t follow those ideas, it’s
because we are weird people. ‘The longer people spend
their money, the richer we will be’, that it’s what business
people might think. So as I am a rebellious person, my
family and I don’t decorate our home and
buy nougat until 22 nd
December.
I enjoy Christmas but obviously I can’t deny that the
essence that used to make Christmas special, had
finished as soon as I left my childhood. In the old days,
(Oh my gosh! I speak like an old lady!) I used to feel
absolutely euphoric when all my relatives got together to
have a meal, spent such a good time playing with my
cousins and I used to be highly-strung while I had to wait
for my presents. I remember that once I even became
sick the night of 5 th
January. In other words I used to be
like a queen and all my relatives seemed to love and
adore me very much.
Nowadays all of that it’s just a wonderful memory. My
cousins, who are older than me, soon started to feel
attracted by other kind of stuff and they didn’t what to
play with me and I wasn’t the queen anymore. Of course
they still love me and I love them too but they don’t
show me as easily as before. Moreover, now that I have
grown up I receive money instead of presents. Please
don’t misunderstand me, I’m really glad that my family
is able to give it to me but in my opinion the most
important point about present is not the present itself,
it’s the fact that a person waist her/his time looking for
something whatever it is to give to somebody who love
or who need it. In other words spend time thinking of
you and from my point of view that’s really beautiful.
Anyway, if you ask me what Christmas means to me I
can’t help thinking of prawns, prawns and more prawns.
Small prawns, big prawns, prawns
with mayonnaise and scampi. I cannot understand why
the base of Christmas meals is seafood. It’s very
expensive, it doesn’t have too much to eat and to be
honest a pair of fried eggs with French fries are by far
more delicious that seafood. Christmas time it’s also the
perfect moment to watch movies and to sing without the
rest of the world think how crazy you are because you
spend most of your day singing.

CHRISTMAS, CHRISTMAS, CHRISTMAS…
It is very difficult for me to explain what Christmas means to
me as I have mixed feelings on the subject.
I am almost 50 and I have lived many Christmas seasons but in
each stage of my life Christmas has meant different things.
When I was a child I loved meeting my cousins, seeing all my
relatives together, singing carols, Christmas decorations at
home and outside with shining lights, delicious meals, but the
most I liked was the three wises men’s day when I received
some gifts although not always were what I wanted. By then, I
didn’t understand the real meaning of Christmas.
As the years went I realized that Christmas had became in a
crazy shopping, extremely stressful days, excessive meals and
expenses, buying things for people who didn’t appreciate nor
needed while a lot of people around me were suffering for the
loss of a relative, financial, health or familiar problems. In
addition to this I had to be cheerful and happy. Why? I felt a
hole in my heart.
A few years ago I made myself the same question I am trying
to answer here. What did Christmas mean to me?
I decided to recover what it should have always been, a time to
remember the birth of Christ which means the defeat of the
darkness of our mean and selfish by the light of hope and love,
when we want to be transformed by the renewing of our mind
and soul. It is a time of ponder how I can help other people and
serve the mankind with all my best. It is the opportunity that
God give us to be a better person.

La VII Semana del Libro se celebró este año entre el 26 de abril y el 10 de mayo. Además
de realizar actividades relacionadas con la lectura en el aula, la EOI albergó el ya famoso
Mercadillo de Libros Solidario por séptimo año consecutivo.
En cada edición de la Semana del Libro, alumnos, profesores y personal de administración
y servicios aportan a lo largo del mes de abril libros en cualquier idioma para hacer del
Mercadillo un lugar atractivo para todo tipo de lectores: ciencia ficción, novelas, poesía,
literatura infantil y juvenil, guías de viaje, etc… Una vez que se inaugura el Mercadillo,
cada uno puede adquirir lo que desee por un donativo que se ha destinado a pequeñas o
grandes asociaciones dedicadas a familiares y enfermos de todo tipo. Este año, hemos
colaborado con la Fundación ATENEA y su proyecto “Centro de Integración Social para
Jóvenes”.

La Fundación Atenea y el centro de integración social
para jóvenes y adolescentes seleccionados por la
Escuela Oficial de Idiomas de Torrejón de Ardoz para
recibir los fondos recaudados en el mercadillo
solidario de este año.
La Fundación Atenea es una entidad del tercer sector sin ánimo de lucro y gestiona el Centro
de Integración social para jóvenes y adolescentes en el municipio de Torrejón de Ardoz, un
centro que se ofrece como un espacio de motivación, actividad, relación, comunicación e
intercambio durante el tiempo de ocio a adolescentes y jóvenes en situación de dificultad
social y ofrecer acompañamiento socioeducativo a estos jóvenes en sus procesos de desarrollo
personal y social.
El centro es gestionado por la Fundación Atenea para el Ayuntamiento de Torrejón de
Ardoz, en el marco del Programa Sube-T y trabaja de forma coordinada con los Servicios
sociales, los institutos y otros recursos socioeducativos del municipio.
La cartera de servicios del Centro incluye las siguientes actuaciones y servicios:
• Un servicio de integración social desde el que se realizarán las acciones de
acompañamiento social individualizado con los jóvenes participantes en el
Centro así como las actividades grupales y comunitarias dirigidas a su
desarrollo personal y social.
• Un servicio de orientación laboral para jóvenes en dificultad social con
apoyos personalizados, definición de itinerarios de inclusión y actividades
grupales prelaborales.
• Un servicio de Prevención, con actividades de prevención selectiva e
indicada. Talleres grupales con contenidos relacionados con riesgos
presentes en la adolescencia, educación para la salud y alternativas de
ocio saludable.
• Asesoría individualizada sobre temas como sexualidad, consumo de
drogas, ocio y tiempo libre…
• Actividades de apoyo al estudio y refuerzo escolar.
• Actividades de ocio y tiempo libre en periodos no lectivos. Desarrollo de un
campamento urbano para jóvenes en riesgo durante el periodo estival.
• Actividades de promoción deportiva.
• Difusión del CISAJ a nivel comunitario
• Participación en la vida comunitaria del municipio de Torrejón de Ardoz.
En la edición del año 2013 del Mercadillo solidario de la escuela Oficial de Idiomas se han
recaudado un total de 420 euros que se destinarán a colaborar con la labor que realiza esta
entidad con chicos y chicas de Torrejón de Ardoz.

Last 8th May some students from Advanced English groups had
the great opportunity of visiting the Royal Botanic Gardens Juan
Carlos I, in Alcala de Henares.
In my opinion, it was an amazing and interesting experience and we could learn a lot about
different kind of plants from different parts of the wordl.
Our special guide, made the visit so amusing and interactive for us, so that we enjoyed a lot while
we learnt some curious information about different species of plants and flowers around our
country and all over the world.
I specially enjoyed the roses area, because I was surprised about all the information that our guide
told us about different roses species and historical events related to these beautiful flowers.
The cactus zone and the exotic plants one were very showy too.
Finally, we visited the orchard zone where there were various vegetables and greens, and herbs
such as peppermint.
I’d like to thank the school for offering these great and funny activities. And thanks to Gema for
giving us the chance of joining a nice time.

Our visit to the Botanical Garden
It has been a really different, amazing and funny activity. I strongly
recommed it, at least, once a year as it is a wonder to behold.
On the one hand, we have been practising and learning English in a
natural environment.
On the other hand, we have seen and admired the biggest roses garden
all around the world besides of a enormous range and variety of plants
(the native ones and a huge types of different ones from abroad).
Finally, we became aware about something incredibly important. As, our
Botanical English guide was a former student, who has just finished sixth
course at E.O.I. last year, we realized that our efforts studying English will
have a sure reward. As the proverb says “seeing is believing”.
I wouldn’t like to finish it, without saying to Pedro and his colleagues,
thank you very much for the marvellous tour and treat received. Love,

GIVING BACK SOME LEARNING…
When I started studying English seven years ago, I couldn’t imagine what the future would
hold for me.
I have worked at the Juan Carlos I Royal Botanical Garden for 17 years as a botanist and I
usually give tours in Spanish to the general public there. This is something that I really enjoy
because I love talking to the public and sharing experiences about plants with people. Now, I
have just given a couple of tours in English to the E.O.I English students from Torrejón de Ardoz,
an experience that I’ll never forget.
I have to deal with many kinds of visitors at work. Sometimes they are children, sometimes they
are teenagers. Other times they are adults. Children, you know, they are very special. I love them
but you never know how they are going to behave: sometimes they are nice, sometimes they are
restless, but always inquiring, something that I like, by the way. In general, teenagers are a bit
passive, they seem to know everything and show little interest in what you are saying. As a rule,
I prefer adults: they pay attention and are usually interested in everything; however, they
usually think that you should know everything about plants because you are a botanist.
Questions like “Is it true that Echinacea is good for you when you have a cold?” get on my nervs:
I’m neither a doctor nor a pharmacist! Obviously, this is something that I think but never say:
you need to be patient with every kind of visitors.
From now on, I will add a new kind of visitors to my list: E.O.I’s students and their teachers from
Torrejón de Ardoz. After their visit, I need to say that I’m very proud of having studying there.
I’d never seen such a category of visitors. They are first-class: they bore me for two hours without
losing interest in anything that I told them. I especially have to thank the Intermidiate level
students for being patient with me: I was so nervous at the beginning of the tour, that I couldn’t
articulate some consonants properly! I have to thank the advanced level students also for being
so inquiring: there’s nothing that I love the most than being asked and giving an accurate
answer; it makes me feel so good! However, it’s my E.O.I teachers who I have to especially thank:
Sylvie, Gema and Mai, who trusted and gave me the chance to apply the English knowlegde that
they had tought me. I have enjoyed these tours so much!
However, I didn’t even know how to say hello in English before I went to the E.O.I. I’m 46 and I
studied French when I was at school, as most young people did at that time. I loved learning
French but, when I went to the University, I immediately realized that it was English what I
needed. Although Spanish was enough in class, teachers usually gave us some papers in English
to widen our knowledge about some particular aspects. I could never study those papers, so I
held a grudge for many years in the thought that I didn’t learn all that I should have learnt
at the University.
That’s why I decided to start studying English when I finally had the chance to do it, at the age
of 40. I owe everything I have learnt to the Torrejón E.O.I. Not only did they teach me how to
speak English but, what is more important, how to study English on my own. It has been a
pleasure for me to give some of that learning back to my teachers’ students. In some way, they
have given me the chance to thank my teachers for these six years at the school of languages.
