Responsibility for the future Environmental Policy and Climate Strategy In 2009, the Trelleborg Group adopted a revised environmental policy and target indicators were established in certain key areas to enable a better monitoring of the implementation and compliance. Trelleborg also produced a climate-change strategy and targets to supplement the environmental policy. Recycling and minimalizing Evaluating the environmental impact of all raw materials and production processes has resulted in the elimination of toxic oil additives from rubber mixtures in the manufacturing process. In addition to minimalizing the rejected and waste matierial results in the extensive use of recyclable materials in the process.
