Renewable Energy Add-on Set<br />
This new set is designed to be compatible with<br />
MINDSTORMS Education. It features a solar panel,<br />
blades, a mot<strong>or</strong>/generat<strong>or</strong>, LED lights, an extension<br />
wire and the unique LEGO Energy Meter, which<br />
w<strong>or</strong>ks as a sens<strong>or</strong> when connected to the NXT.<br />
The Energy Meter collects the following data;<br />
input/output in volts, amps, watt, and energy<br />
st<strong>or</strong>age level in joule. These data can be used<br />
f<strong>or</strong> programming <strong>or</strong> viewed in the data logging<br />

can be used as additional inspiration, but are<br />

Using the NXT brick, the Colour Sens<strong>or</strong> is able to perf<strong>or</strong>m<br />
three unique functions. It acts as a Colour Sens<strong>or</strong><br />
distinguishing between six colours; it w<strong>or</strong>ks as a Light<br />
Sens<strong>or</strong> detecting light intensities, both reflected light and<br />
ambient light; and it w<strong>or</strong>ks as a Colour Lamp, emitting<br />
red, green <strong>or</strong> blue light. You will<br />
need a connect<strong>or</strong> cable,<br />
which is included in the<br />
