Quartz Plaster Repair
Repairing your quartz finish pool has never been easier. Now available: E-Z
Patch quality repairs for QUARTZ PLASTER finishes. Now, repair and patch the
most common quartz surfaces like a pro. Our special color matched products,
Instructions and "How to" videos will make it happen.
For above water Quartz Plaster repairs (water must be lowered). Our special
Non-Reimulsifying Acrylic modified material with Pozzalons and Polymers. Top
quality materials and additives, backed up by superior formulations all add up to
good looking, long lasting repairs.
HINTS: To prevent surface shrinkage cracks in repairs over 3/4” deep, use a 2
step process. First, fill-in with E-Z Patch® 1, 5, 6, 7, 9,10 or 11 until the depth is
3/8". Then, after "fill-in" is dry, dampen with water and finish the repair.
For flexibility, E-Z Patch 24 can be applied prior to repairs.

Coverages are for 3/8" in thickness. Some Quartz plaster jobs are thicker, especially on step areas,
coves and rolled bond beams. Often, they are as much as 2" thick. Please order enough material in
case you need it.

E-Z Patch 1 F.S. and E-Z Patch 9 F.S.
How do I get the right amount of Quartz to show on the surface of the E-Z Patch 10 Quartz plaster
repair?
We have complete instructions on each repair supply item. The instructions will tell you how to use a
sponge & a Trowel to get the right amount of Quartz showing on the surface of the repair. Even with
your 14 colors available for the E-Z Patch 10, on rare occasions I have encountered a custom colored
Quartz plaster
Can your E-Z Patch 10 be colored?
Yes, add masonry dye to the dry mix of
E-Z Patch 10 or E-Z Patch 10 F.S. to
change the color. It is better to start with a
small test mix and add a small amount of
water to it to determine how much dye you
will need to add.
Remember to also wet the surrounding
area that you are trying to match so that
you are matching “wet to wet” to get a
more correct color match.
How thick can I apply your plaster repair?
Our E-Z Patch pool plaster materials are designed to be applied a min. of 3/8” deep and a max. of 1” at
a time. Layers of up to 1” thick can be applied if you allow the previous layer to dry first and then
moisten prior to applying the next layer so you don’t get shrinkage cracks.
