NOTICE
REGISTRATION FOR THE MINISTERIAL EXAMINATION OF COLLEGE ENGLISH
LANGUAGE OF INSTRUCTION AND LITERATURE
Did you know? Since January 1, 1998, under the new school regulation, students enrolled in a
Diploma of College Studies (DCS/DEC) program must pass the épreuve uniforme de français,
langue d’enseignement et littérature, in order to obtain their diploma.
When does the examination take place?
The Ministère de l'Enseignement supérieur, de la Recherche, de la Science et de la Technologie
holds three examination sessions each year, in May, August, and December.

Conditions for registration
You must have passed two of the three courses (603-101, 603 - 102, 603-103) and be in the
process of completing the third (603-102 or 603-103).
When to register?
You must register at least four weeks before the examination date.
Where does the examination take place?
The examination can be taken at a CEGEP in your area.
How to register?
If you are enrolled at Cégep@distance as a commandite student, you must register for the exam
through your CEGEP.
If you are enrolled at Cégep@distance without a commandite, you should complete the
registration form overleaf and fax it to Cégep@distance at 514-864-6400.
