and diarrhoea are both common adverse effects <strong>of</strong> <strong>lanthanum</strong>, but not necessarily associated with <strong>the</strong> radiological f<strong>in</strong>d<strong>in</strong>gs<br />

described above. In our case, symptoms were limited <strong>the</strong>mselves and <strong>the</strong> drug was re<strong>in</strong>troduced.<br />
