Department of Radiation Oncology
The course is targeted at radiation oncologists, physicists and
therapists interested in novel techniques for prone external
beam breast cancer radiation therapy.
Attendees will receive an overview of prone breast radiotherapy
including simulation, physics planning and treament and handson
demonstrations of the NYU Prone technique.
Special emphasis is given to the application of the NYU prone
technique and summary of NYU Cancer Institute protocols which
utilize IMRT planning techniques.
