Objectives & Goals:
- Starting at Dubai Marina Yacht Club, create an open cruising club to watch the
spectacular Red Bull Air Race, from the vantage point of you own motor yacht
- To organise a 5-star cruising event for current yacht owners and charter companies
- Creating a safe environment for boat owners to increase their cruising confidence
- To put the ‘life’ into boating lifestyle in a fun and relaxed atmosphere
- Providing full pre event information and support to ensure pleasurable
cruising experience
- To generate positive media coverage for the entire industry
- To increase the motor yacht business for the benefit of us all

The benefits of running such events are:
- The creation of a true boating ‘lifestyle’

– making an event like the Red Bull Air Raid possible.

The Red Bull Air Raid 2009
17 th -18th April
Abu Dhabi
The Red Bull Air Race World Championship features the world’s best pilots in a motor sports
competition based on speed, precision and skill.
Using the fastest, most agile and lightweight racing planes, pilots navigate a low-level aerial
race track made up of air-filled pylons, reaching speeds of 370 kilometres per hour while
withstanding forces of up to 12 Gs.
Spectacular backdrops and jaw-dropping action guarantee that spectators experience one of
the most innovative and exciting new sports competitions around today.

The event is to be hosted by Dubai Marina Yacht Club
