Inauguration of the very first Motor Yacht trip
Dubai-Abu Dhabi-Dubai for the Red Bull Air Raid in April 2009.
Presented by:

Objectives & Goals:
- Starting at Dubai Marina Yacht Club, create an open cruising club to watch the
spectacular Red Bull Air Race, from the vantage point of you own motor yacht
- To organise a 5-star cruising event for current yacht owners and charter companies
- Creating a safe environment for boat owners to increase their cruising confidence
- To put the ‘life’ into boating lifestyle in a fun and relaxed atmosphere
- Providing full pre event information and support to ensure pleasurable
cruising experience
- To generate positive media coverage for the entire industry
- To increase the motor yacht business for the benefit of us all

Perth Red Bull Air Race 2008:

Examples of current events:
Fairline owner’s club,
DMYC Dragon Boat Race
& the Beneteau Regatta

The benefits of running such events are:
- The creation of a true boating ‘lifestyle’
- Individuals using their craft, rather than full marinas on weekends
- Not using a craft will cause owner to sell
- The more a craft is used, the more an owner is likely to upgrade
- The increased confidence generated for owners from cruising in company
- The safety in numbers factor
- The silent salesmen
- Another ‘good news’ story to use during DIBS
- Fantastic example of exemplary after sales service
- The generation of quality media exposure

Why isn’t everybody running such events?
- The time to organise such events is a major commitment
- Dedicating personnel resources is a major commitment
- The costs involved are a major commitment
- The lack of ‘destination’ is prohibitive

What is required is unilateral cooperation for the benefit of all…
By pooling our resources, we are able to achieve a greater goal. Boat Owner Magazine and
EGW are in a unique position to realise this goal, as we have no conflict of interests.
A small commitment by all of us, will negate the previous ‘major commitments’ mentioned
– making an event like the Red Bull Air Raid possible.
Through cooperation we can create the lifestyle that boat owners, your customers and our
readers, deserve.
The event will of course generate an atmosphere of fun and relaxation.
An atmosphere in which you can establish a different relationship with your clients.

Eureka Group World will manage the entire event through its divisions.
In this unique global business period we truly believe that collaboration and partnership
are the key elements of this major marine event.
The final achievement is to exceed expectations of your clients before, during and after the
event, organizing something new that generates emotions and hopefully future business.
