Responsibilities:
Steff an is a chartered town planner with almost 8 years experience.
Steff an has been involved in a range of planning and infrastructure
projects. He has also been responsible for the preparation, coordination
and submission of numerous planning applications.
Recent project experience has seen Steff an seconded to the
Athletes’ Village in Stratford, East London to provide overarching
strategic and development planning advice, whilst also
co-ordinating a multidiscipline team to ensure the timely delivery
of the project.
Key Experience Includes:
Athletes’ Village - (Lend Lease/Olympic Delivery Authority) one of
the lead consultants involved in the preparation and co-ordination of
various planning applications for Stratford City, East London that will
also form part of the fi rst elements of the Olympic Legacy
Currently the lead consultant on all planning matters relating to the
Athletes’ Village providing strategic and detailed advice to project
teams and contractors
Project management of a substantial consultant team
Lead consultant on a number of residential plot developments
Lead consultant on infrastructure and site preparation developments
both with Stratford City and associated development within the
Olympic Park
Lead consultant for the provision of related development including
Public Realm and streetscape elements of the scheme
The preparation of an array of application including full, reserved
matters, section 73 and non-material amendments
Negotiating nature, scope and content of planning conditions

Red Bull Air Race/Red Bull X Fighters (Red Bull/innovision) -
Steffan was responsible for providing overarching planning advice
together with the detailed management and co-ordination of
planning applications to support the Red Bull Air Race and Red Bull
X Fighters events
Stratford City (Westfield) - Steffan is acting as planning consultant
for the provision of temporary events/media/broadcasting/
National Olympic Associations/hospitality venues in and around
the recently opened Westfield Stratford City. Steffan has obtained
planning permission for numerous such venues, many of which will
accommodate official sponsors and organisations associated with
the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Steffan has also secured
planning permission for additional retail floorspace in response to
tenant demands which helped ensure the successful letting and
opening of Westfield Stratford City in September 2011
Bluewater - Steffan has provided planning advice in relation to
on-going asset management of Bluewater together with
co-ordinating and submitting retail planning applications to ensure
that the current provision of units satisfies the latest occupier
requirements. More recently, Steffan has been advising Lend Lease
on various matters associated with the delivery of the Bluewater
Events venue which is due to open in November 2011
London City Airport - Steffan is part of a team advising the Airport
on its medium/long term plans in relation to ongoing proposals
for upgrading Airport facilities. Steffan has also been advising
the Airport on proposals for the reprovision of worker facilities
displaced by the closure of another operational building. Steffan
was responsible for co-ordinating the project team and progressing
the application through to planning approval.
