Responsibilities:<br />
Steff an is a chartered town planner with almost 8 years experience.<br />
Steff an has been involved in a range of planning and infrastructure<br />
projects. He has also been responsible for the preparation, coordination<br />
and submission of numerous planning applications.<br />
Recent project experience has seen Steff an seconded to the<br />
Athletes’ Village in Stratford, East London to provide overarching<br />
strategic and development planning advice, whilst also<br />
co-ordinating a multidiscipline team to ensure the timely delivery<br />
of the project.<br />
Key Experience Includes:<br />
Athletes’ Village - (Lend Lease/Olympic Delivery Authority) one of<br />
the lead consultants involved in the preparation and co-ordination of<br />
various planning applications for Stratford City, East London that will<br />
also form part of the fi rst elements of the Olympic Legacy<br />
Currently the lead consultant on all planning matters relating to the<br />
Athletes’ Village providing strategic and detailed advice to project<br />
teams and contractors<br />
Project management of a substantial consultant team<br />
Lead consultant on a number of residential plot developments<br />
Lead consultant on infrastructure and site preparation developments<br />
both with Stratford City and associated development within the<br />
Olympic Park<br />
Lead consultant for the provision of related development including<br />
Public Realm and streetscape elements of the scheme<br />
The preparation of an array of application including full, reserved<br />

Red Bull Air Race/Red Bull X Fighters (Red Bull/innovision) -<br />
<strong>Steffan</strong> was responsible for providing overarching planning advice<br />
together with the detailed management and co-ordination of<br />
planning applications to support the Red Bull Air Race and Red Bull<br />
X Fighters events<br />
Stratford City (Westfield) - <strong>Steffan</strong> is acting as planning consultant<br />
for the provision of temporary events/media/broadcasting/<br />
National Olympic Associations/hospitality venues in and around<br />
the recently opened Westfield Stratford City. <strong>Steffan</strong> has obtained<br />
planning permission for numerous such venues, many of which will<br />
accommodate official sponsors and organisations associated with<br />
the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. <strong>Steffan</strong> has also secured<br />
planning permission for additional retail floorspace in response to<br />
tenant demands which helped ensure the successful letting and<br />
opening of Westfield Stratford City in September 2011<br />
Bluewater - <strong>Steffan</strong> has provided planning advice in relation to<br />
on-going asset management of Bluewater together with<br />
co-ordinating and submitting retail planning applications to ensure<br />
that the current provision of units satisfies the latest occupier<br />
requirements. More recently, <strong>Steffan</strong> has been advising Lend Lease<br />
on various matters associated with the delivery of the Bluewater<br />
Events venue which is due to open in November 2011<br />
London City Airport - <strong>Steffan</strong> is part of a team advising the Airport<br />
on its medium/long term plans in relation to ongoing proposals<br />
for upgrading Airport facilities. <strong>Steffan</strong> has also been advising<br />
the Airport on proposals for the reprovision of worker facilities<br />
displaced by the closure of another operational building. <strong>Steffan</strong><br />
was responsible for co-ordinating the project team and progressing<br />
the application through to planning approval.
