The Pledge of Allegiance
I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to
the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible,
with Liberty and Justice for all.
Between 7AM and 8AM all students must cross Route 62 only at the crosswalk
by Berry Hall. If you need to get to Extension Hall for class during the first
block- you will no longer be allowed to cross Route 62 at the crosswalk by
Extension Hall in the morning between 7AM and 8AM – crossing must only
occur at the Berry Hall crosswalk. We have made this change due to safety
and traffic concerns.
Students who are taking late bus transportation must sign up for their late
bus before 11:00 a.m. Students will NOT be allowed to sign up for the late bus
after 11:00.
Seniors who had their Senior Photos taken after the Senior Pictures can pick
up their proofs from Mrs. Verrington or Ms Plante. Seniors who have not had
their Senior Photos taken are reminded that in order for them to be in the
yearbook you must have your photo taken by January 6th.
The Cinema Club will present a special presentation Thursday in Room 3 of
Gallant Hall. The meeting will start at 3 PM. Please obtain a pass and go to the
library until the start of the Club meeting. All are encouraged to attend.
Ms. Grima is still looking for any students interested in Ag Sales, Ag Marketing
and Creed CDE's. Please see Ms. Grima before school after school or during
lunch with any questions or come to a meeting on Thursday after school in
Ms. Grima's classroom. All are welcome to attend!
Please join Ms. Grima in wishing congratulations to the NRES CDE team for
placing first in the state! Oona King and James Koutoules placed Bronze as
individuals, Robert Craig placed Silver and Joey Clancy placed 2nd in the
state. Mcalah Morin, Ashley Boulanger, Allison Leader, Phillip Simonton,
Felicia Rodier, Brett, Phinney, Alex Nora, Christine Connor and Deanna
Mansfield had a great showing as B team!
Congratulations to the Tractor Driving/Equipment Operations teams. Nate
Wersackas and Logan Gilliland competed in the Tractor Driving event, and
Nate earned a bronze award. Andrew Stasinos and Jake Tarnowski competed
in the Safe Equipment Operations event and Jake placed 2nd overall
individual and Andrew earned a bronze award.

Next Tuesday, December 20th, the Essex FFA Chapter will host a Holiday
celebration in Ms. McMillan's room- Science Building room 302. Bring your
favorite holiday treat to share and make some holiday cards for the New
England Center for Homeless Veterans.
Equine Club will meet next Tuesday, December 20th after school (2:30) in Ms.
L-R's room
There will be an AAG/GSA meeting Wednesday December 21st at 2:30pm in
room 5. All are welcome. Please bring a treat and bring a friend.
Freshmen Student Government: Any Freshmen who is running for student
government needs to drop their campaign flyer off to Mr. Gwilliam in room
213, Smith Hall as soon as possible.
We have good news from the Commonwealth Conference Football Coaches.
Tyler Skane was voted to the CAC Football All-Star Team. He will be
dismissed at 10:30 AM on Monday December 19th to attend CAC Football All-
Star luncheon that will be held at Greater Lawrence Technical HS.

All-Star Football team for 2011. He and other members of the Commonwealth
Conference football all-star team will be honored at a luncheon to be held on
Monday December 19, 2011 at Greater Lawrence Technical High School.
